So its very clear that the Cubs are not making moves to stay competitive in 2021, seems like its the same old story of a move towards a full on rebuild. My best guess is that they are trying to dump as many big contracts as possible & going tank the next few seasons (at least 2 or 3 seasons) to build up good draft picks to restock their weak farm system (ranked 23rd in 2020). They are slightly and I mean slightly trying to keep the fans entertained by making room for some of their liked younger players/prospects. So do not expect any big contract signing for the next 4 to 5 seasons until they see if their rebuild works & its worth it to the Ricketts to invest in the team or not.
Who have the Cubs already said goodbye to?
So far the Cubs let starting pitchers Jon Lester (now with the Nationals) , Tyler Chatwood (now with the Blue Jays) & Jose Quintana (now with the Angels) walk. They also let relievers Ryan Tepara, Jeremy Jeffrees & Pedro Strop walk. As far as hitters they let Kyle Schwarber (now with the Nationals), Albert Almora & Jason Kipnis walk. Then they also traded Yu Darvish & Victor Caratini to the Padres for Zach Davies & a few prospects (all under 20, non top ranked).
What have the Cubs acquired?

Well they did get Starting Pitcher Zach Davies (owe him $7 million versus Darvish is $62 million) in the trade who will be 28 and is a decent addition to the rotation, also a potential affordable resigning candidate.
They signed Catcher Austin Romine to a 1 yea$1.5 million deal, he is 32 years old a mediocre back up catcher better defensively then offensively, also a potential affordable resigning candidate.
They signed Relief Pitcher Jonathan Holder to a 1 yea$750,000, he is 27 he is an interesting signing your typical buy low gain big type of player, also a potential affordable resigning candidate.
They signed Starting Pitcher Shelby Miller to a minor league deal of 1 yea$850,000, with $600,000 in performance bonuses. He is 30 years old, he is your classic hope he either bounces back or eats up innings (cheaper version of Edwin Jackson) most likely gets a roster spot as 5th starter or reliever. Sadly he has not pitched well since 2015 at all but if he does manage to pitch decent he could be a long shot potential affordable resigning.
They signed Third Baseman Matt Duffy to a minor league deal where he could make $1 million if he makes the major league roster, along with $600,000 in incentives. He is 30, he is a cheap signing to add infield depth (basically a cheaper version of Daniel Descalso & Jason Kipnis, but younger). He is definitely a top candidate to be an affordable resigning candidate.
They claimed Phillip Ervin from the Mariners waivers, he is 28 years old and is your classic outfield depth move. He is definitely a top candidate to be an affordable resigning candidate.

Which other players will the Cubs trade before the season or by the trade deadline?

Catcher Wilson Contreras is definitely being shopped around, hate to say it but its true. Offensively he is solid having a career batting average of .265 & OPS of .815, while defensively he is solid at framing & one of the strongest throwing arms (he can pick them off like flies). He is under control till 2022 & only owed $6.5 million this season. That means you get him below market value for 2 seasons before having to dish out the big bucks, so the Cubs will sell him high for a pair of top ranked near MLB ready prospects (definitely upper top 100, 1 to 2 years away from MLB debut). My best guess is he will be traded before the season starts and will most likely be heading to the Angels or Nationals (if they dont sign J.T. Realmuto).
Infielder Javier Baez is another to be definitely shopped around, which is a huge sting to the fan base. Offensively he has great power & contact holding a career batting average of .264 & OPS of .777. Defensively he is the best in the game, and still very young compared to the others of his caliber. He is only under control for 2021 but is only owed $11.65 million, which is still a good price for a player like him. He is definitely going to go to a team that will need his power & defensive to make a push to win it all, he will then hit the free agency & get a big payout that the Cubs definitely will not wanna pay. The Cubs will want him to put up the offensive numbers of 2019 so his value grows & they can get a few prospects (at least 1 top ranked one within a few years of MLB debut). My best guess is he will be traded just before the trade deadline, and will most likely be heading to the Phillies or Dodgers.
Third Baseman Kris Bryant is going to be traded this year, he is a former MVP & proven winner. Offensively he has a career batting average of .280 & OPS of .889, while defensively he is solid & experienced. He is still fairly young, yes he has injury issues but he has always bounced back. He is under control for 2021 and is owed $19.5 million which is a bit heavy but not extremely crazy. He is going to be sent to a team who needs a DH or a team who desperately need a third baseman or left fielder who can produce on offense & play defensively well. He is definitely a 1 year loaner to a team who will use his leadership & experience to push the team to a big title run. The Cubs will want to trade him as soon as possible, its too risky to wait to trade him & risk him either getting injured or having another bad offensive start. My best guess is he will be traded just before the season starts and will most likely be heading to the Mets or Braves.
Outfielder Ian Happ is the last player I believe will be traded by the Cubs. He has showed lots of promise for a young player. Offensively he has a career batting average of .248 & OPS of .825, while defensively he continues to improve especially in center field. He is under control until 2023 & only owed $3.5 million in 2021. That means you have 3 years of way below market value for a rising young outfielder, and even after that I do not believe he will be a big contract guy he will still an affordable player to resign or extend making him very intriguing. At the moment the Cubs will not get a whole lot in return but I can see perhaps 2 prospects (middle ranked in the teams top 30) who are younger, but if he has a solid season & stays healthy he can bring his value up & perhaps get better prospects for him. My best guess is he will be traded just before the trade deadline, and will most likely be heading to the Yankees, Red Sox or Giants.

Which players will players wanna try to trade but be unable too?

Outfielder Jason Heyward is under contract til 2023 & still owed $69.5 million & is 31 years old. Yes he is a gold glove winner & one of the best outfielders in the game, but I do not see any team wanting to pick up that contract this season. I believe if he improve his offense a little more & stay healthy that the Cubs could be able to trade him next year where he will only be owed $45 million over 2 seasons, a much more affordable contract to pick up.
CloseReliver Craig Kimbrel who is under contract til 2022 & still owed $32 million & is 32 years old. I am sorry but there is no way they will be able to trade him before the season after his meltdown over the past two seasons. It would take a miracle to trade him during the season, even if he keeps a 0.00 ERA & saves 25 games by the trade deadline most likely no one will want to take the risk. I dont even see him being traded next season, it went wrong & the Cubs will be stuck with him which is sad because I doubt he will ever produce like he once did, at best he will be a mediocre set up man/closer.

Which other players will the Cubs sign for this offseason to fill out the roster?

Well if I am correct with my predictions (trading Javier Baez & Kris Bryant) the Cubs will need to sign 1 infielder for depth & help platoon. The way I see it Anthony Rizzo (finish his career a Cub) is a lock at first base, David Bote (under control cheap til 2026) will get the start at second base this year, Nico Hoerner (under control til 2025) will take over & is the future at shortstop, & Matt Duffy will get the start at third base. So my best guess is the Cubs will want to sign a player to a cheap 1 year deal for no more then $2 million, who can produce some offensive help & defensive help. My best guess is the Cubs will sign Jonathan Villar who is 30, he has a career batting average of .259 & OPS of .727, as far as defensive he is reliable & experienced. He would most likely cost around from $1 million to $2 million & be a top candidate to be an affordable resigning candidate.

He is definitely a very cheap sign, most likely will cost under $1 million and is a top candidate to be an affordable resigning candidate.

He will cost around $1 million which is pretty cheap, and he is always a candidate to be an affordable resigning candidate again. My second guess is they will sign Ben Gamel who is 29, he has a career batting average of .261 & OPS of .720, defensively he is reliable & experienced. He has experience against the division pitchers having played with the Brewers the last two seasons, he can easily help platoon both in center field & left field. He will cost around $1 million to $2 million & is a top candidate to be an affordable resigning candidate.
Now its time to talk about starting pitching, I feel the Cubs will need to sign 1 more starting pitcher. The way I see it Kyle Hendricks is their ace, Zach Davies is going to be slotted number 2 & Alec Mills is going to be slotted number 3 in the starting rotation, with Shelby Miller being an almost definite to be slotted number 4 in the starting rotation. I do not believe Adbert Alzolay will start the season in the MLB, I see him starting in AAA and coming up mid season to allow him to tweak his stuff up a bit, last thing they need is to rush him. My best guess is the Cubs will sign Trevor Williams who is 29, he has a career ERA of 4.43 & WHIP of 1.337, he has a promising year in 2018 but has had back to back bad seasons. The upside is he is familiar with the division having played for the Pirates, he is a fixer upper who can potential turn things around & he is very cheap well $1 million to sign him, most likely can sign him to a minor league deal where if he makes the opening day roster he gets $700,000 and add in some performance bonuses. HE can easily be slotted in the number 5 spot in the starting rotation, & be a top candidate to be an affordable resigning candidate.

What areas are set for the Cubs/ wont sign anyone for?

The bullpen I feel is pretty set for the Cubs, and I definitely feel they will carry 13 pitchers this year so that gives you 8 pitchers in the bullpen. The way I see it they have Craig Kimbrel as the closer, Rowan Wick as the set up man, then middle relivers they have Brad Wieck, Dan Winkler, Kyle Ryan, Jason Adam & Jonathan Holder and as long reliver they have Duane Underwood Jr.

Unfortunately this gives the Cubs a very mediocre roster which will not be competitive at all and most likely see them finish 4th in their division, only better then the Pirates. But lets face it the Ricketts do not wanna spend money & the Cubs are in the rebuild transition. I am a die hard Cubs fan so it hurt me to write all this but its what I feel the Cubs will do this off season, at best I see the Cubs winning 70 games this year.

FortuneJack Casino Review

The site is laid out fairly well with a few areas we’d like to see improvement. We did dock some points for the fact of how “heavy” the site is on Bitcoin. If you don’t have a firm understanding of Bitcoin and the exchange rates, you will have to do a lot of calculations to know how much certain limits or bonuses are. A lot of Bitcoin only sites will have some real dollar guides on the site to help you out. That being said, you can learn it all within a few minutes.
As Bitcoin grows in popularity, the number of Bitcoin casinos and online gaming sites continues to grow as well. Established in 2014 by the Nexus Group, FortuneJack can still be considered one of the newer players on the market with a lot to offer. While some sites that offer Bitcoin offer other forms of currency, FortuneJack is only a Bitcoin site. This doesn’t mean you can’t use other methods to fund your account; you’ll just need to fund them into a Bitcoin wallet and then deposit onto the site.

For a Bitcoin-only site, Fortune Jack is a pretty solid choice. The reason we docked a few points is that it is solely a Bitcoin site with no other banking options and the setup of the site is heavy in Bitcoin meaning that you won’t see anything in US dollars or Pounds or Euros. Everything is listed in Bitcoins which may be a little confusing at first if you’re new to the currency. Overall, the site was good, but not great, but does have quite a bit of room to grow.

The site has a lot of different gaming options from about nine different providers. We know how many providers they have because they strangely have their games separated by providers instead of alphabetically or by type. They had no branded games that we saw, but still a lot of great options from a lot of great providers. The quality of their non-slot casino-style games was extremely high and definitely needs to be brought to your attention. If you’re a roulette, video poker, or blackjack player, you’re really going to love this site.

FortuneJack Banking

This may be a bit more of a harsh rating due to the fact that the casino is a Bitcoin-only site, but it’s what we decided on. If we were looking at it as only filling the Bitcoin niche, it would be a 5/5, but since we’re looking at it in comparison to other sites, it would have been nice to see a lot more options on top of just the Bitcoin. The Bitcoin options seem up to par and nothing special to report there except that it looks to be good to go.

FortuneJack Bonuses

The site had quite a few welcome and deposit bonuses as well as a rake race style competition that run weekly. There was a little confusion on how much or how little you need to deposit to get the deposit bonuses, but you should be able to easily contact support and get it clarified if you need any clarification. The site also makes mention of some other bonuses including free spins but does not have any details posted. This may be an error, or they may only have these additional bonuses seasonally.

FortuneJack Customer Service

The site has a contact form and email support listed which is nice, but they did not have any form of live chat or telephone support. Without a ton of testing, it’s hard to tell if these are adequate or not. They could be great if they respond extremely quickly or could be terrible and an easy way for them to ignore you.

First Glance

The very first thing we noticed when coming to FortuneJack is that they are very heavy on the Bitcoin. What does this mean? Well, a lot of sites will convert Bitcoins into a more standard currency when they write things on the site to make things a little easier for those new to Bitcoin to understand. FortuneJack doesn’t seem to do this and has everything written out in Bitcoins. For example, some sites (even being Bitcoin) might list their jackpot amount as $2 million, but FortuneJack has their major jackpot listed as 1855.99352835 Bitcoins. These are going to be the exact same amount, but they’re just presented differently.
Does this mean you’ll win any less if you hit the jackpot? Of course not, but it may just take an additional learning curve for you to realize the amounts of a few things. Most likely, this will involve making a few extra calculations when you first start playing at the site, but will probably be something you eventually get accustomed to.
Additionally, on our first pass through the site, we noticed the quality of all the games look to be high. We didn’t see any branded style games, but they do have a lot of games from at least nine different providers. They had a ton of slot games to choose from, and their table/card game selection did look to be higher than with most other sites in the industry. These included a lot of variations or similar games that could be a big perk if you’re picky about what you like to play.
In regards to the layout, it initially looked fairly clean and well laid out, though, after a little more digging we saw some things we think they could improve on to make navigation and finding your favorite games a bit easier. They had multiple ways to access the list of games that threw us for a loop the first time we saw it. Games are also separated by type and then by the provider. Separation by the game type is great, but to be honest with you, we have no idea what providers make our favorite games, so that sort of organization seems a bit pointless to the casual player. We’ll cover this in depth in the sections below.
FortuneJack also had no sportsbook which really isn’t a negative as sites that usually focus on one area instead of trying to be a one-stop shop do a better job in that area of focus. Again, we said usually, but at first glance, this looks like it might be the case with FortuneJack.
Overall at first glance, things look clean, and we’re fairly excited to dig deeper into everything we initially saw and hopefully some things we haven’t seen yet. We’re anticipating a fairly positive overall experience based on first glance, but you can never judge a book by its cover.

Slots

Let’s start with the positives. Game selection was huge, like considerably more games than most of the other sites we’ve taken a look at recently. The games looked to be of varying quality from the run of the mill games to some pretty sweet looking selections to choose from. We didn’t see any branded games (games named after famous shows or movies) which would have been nice and was a bit expected with so many different options.
The reasoning for so many game options is because unlike a lot of online gaming sites, FortuneJack purchased games from a ton of different providers. They had games from Endorphina, Softswiss, Igrosoft, Tomhorn, Amatic, Playson, Pragmatic Play, Microgaming, and Gameart. Now, while we’ve heard of a lot of these companies, we don’t really expect you to be too familiar with them which makes this next bit a little strange to us.
There are two separate menu locations for slots, one that opens up the options on the homepage and then one that takes you to a dedicated page with a slots header at the top. Both of these slot sections have the games organized by their creator company. While this is great if you know the exact game you are looking for and for some reason know what company created it, but for the rest of us, it doesn’t really help a whole lot.
Let’s say Cool Diamond II is one of your favorite games. If you’re like the rest of us, you would probably want to look under the alphabetical listing of games to see if that one exists on the site or use a search function to find it. Unfortunately, the only way to find it on FortuneJack is to know that the game is made by Amatic and click on their tab or sift through every single game until you locate it.
UPDATE: We completely missed this on our first several passes through the site, and that’s not a fault of our own. There is a search function on both menus to help you find the game you are looking for. On the homepage menu, it’s labeled on the right-hand side of the screen. If you click the dedicated slot games tab from the top, though, it is not labeled on that page but is just a black, gray area. The only way we found it was by clicking around on the page for a while and noticing a cursor to type popped up.
Regardless, we’d like to see a different way of organizing the games (maybe alphabetically or by style) instead of by parent company. We’d also like to see more attention drawn to the search functions, especially on the dedicated slot games tab.
One other perk we would like to mention before giving you the complete list of games offered is that all of the games at FortuneJack are available to be played for free without creating an account. This is great for testing out the different games and seeing if they have ones that you’re going to enjoy playing for real.

Casino Games

Immediately we saw some positives and areas for improvement for the casino section, or sections, of FortuneJack. The reason we say sections is because the organization is a little haywire with the games. Again, they have two menu locations for the games, and in both spots, they’re separated into different categories. We’ll do our best to walk you through what they have to offer.
Regarding quality, all of the games look to be of good quality with nothing glaringly bad sticking out. Their table style games did seem to be of higher quality than most other sites we’ve looked at where they always seem to gloss over them and skimp on quality. This is definitely a positive if you like playing table style casino games.

Live Dealers

This is the first casino-style game tab in the first menu from the home page. On the homepage, they are all listed together, but if you access it through the dedicated page from the very top menu, they’re separated by the provider.

Roulette

This tab was only available on the homepage menu and not on the dedicated games page. It’s important to point out that the quality of the games here looks to be a lot higher than what we’ve seen from other sites in the past including some of the industry giants.

Poker

The poker section was available on both menus except if you tried to access the game list from the dedicated page from the very top menu, you can’t see any of the games without logging in. If you use the secondary menu on the homepage a little further down, you can see all the games listed without logging in. You aren’t able to play any of them, but the options are there to at least see them and be able to judge quality as well based on the posted graphics. We were again impressed with the quality of these games especially graphically speaking.

Blackjack

As we mentioned earlier, FortuneJack has a lot of different game variations where other sites only have a few of the more mainstream versions. This is especially true in the blackjack section where they have a ton of different options of high-quality games to play. Blackjack games can be seen from the secondary menu, but there is no tab on the main menu at the top of the page that directs to dedicated pages. If you can’t tell already, we are a bit annoyed by the multiple menus with some stuff being on both and some only being on one or the other.

Provably Fair

This may be a new term to you as it was to us as well. Provably fair is a new way that casinos are actually letting you take part in the randomization and shuffling of cards. They allow you to provide some “instructions” to reshuffle the cards after they have. Basically, the casino shuffler uses random numbers to generate a random shuffle, but sometimes people worry these random numbers aren’t that random.
What provably fair allows you to do is supply your own random number either manually or automatically generated by your computer. This random number is used in the shuffling algorithm. This ensures that you are getting a completely random shuffle and it’s impossible for the casino to be cheating you. In a brick and mortar casino setting, this would be equivalent to letting you cut the cards after the dealer has shuffled.
This is an insanely simplified definition of what it is, but it should get the gist of it across. It’s basically designed for the completely untrusting who don’t trust online casinos or the third party auditors that keep them in line. Personally, we just trust the safety measures and third-party auditing, but for the skeptical ones of the bunch, this may be perfect for you.
As we’ve been talking about, there is a menu across the top that sends you to dedicated pages for some sections and then a menu further down the homepage that showcases everything on the homepage. Everything above we were doing from the homepage menu because it was much more user-friendly and showed us a lot more without the need to create an account.
Just for completeness, here are the different sections included under the Games tab from the top level menu that sends you to dedicated pages. If any of that confused you at all, you can understand our mild frustration with the layout.
It’s also worth noting that there is a Dice tab at the top menu that doesn’t take you anywhere. Maybe they are in the works of building that out or just forgot to link it somewhere.

Banking Options

All banking on FortuneJack is done through Bitcoin. While some Bitcoin sites will offer other options, FortuneJack is keeping it simple with Bitcoin only. We weren’t able to locate any limits or restrictions but would assume there probably aren’t any due to the nature of Bitcoin. We did make sure to read through the Terms and Conditions section of the site and found nothing about limits or fees or anything like that there. We’d assume everything is a go with them, but you may want to check with support first just to be more informed.
FortuneJack will accept any Bitcoin wallet, but they have a special partnership and recommend using BitGo. Honestly, you don’t have to use this one specifically, and it’s completely up to you which wallet you use. We recommended several in the intro section of this review for you to check out.

Welcome Bonus

FortuneJack offers a 130% welcome bonus on first-time deposits with a maximum bonus of 0.5 Bitcoins (BTC). They also had a secondary welcome bonus available that looked to only be good for larger deposits. It was 130% as well for deposits with a minimum of 0.777 BTC and a maximum bonus of 1.0 BTC.

They talk about a few other bonus offerings but without a lot of details. They mention that they give away free spins but don’t really talk about how those are dispersed or how you earn them. They also mention having a loyalty program, but we couldn’t find anything about it with details. We’d highly recommend contacting support when you start playing here to make sure that they are giving you every bonus possible and that you’re taking full advantage of everything they have.

The site also has weekly leaderboard races for players to compete to win their share of 5 Bitcoins per week. Players will receive points for playing games and the more they play, the more points they will earn. Customer Service

Customer service options at FortuneJack were ok with a slight lean towards subpar. They have a contact us form and an email list for you to reach out which is great, though, they don’t list a time frame that you should expect a response. There are no live chat options, social media, or phone numbers for you to use to get in touch with them. Maybe they have the greatest contact form and email support under the sun, but they sure aren’t advertising that if it’s the case.

Conclusion

Overall, FortuneJack is a middle of the road casino for us. The magnitude of the slot offerings and the ease of Bitcoin are huge perks as well as the quality of their casino-style games. The layout was a little annoying but not anything to make us not want to play there. We would like to see some more explanations of their VIP programs and also some more customer service options or at least guarantees of response times listed.
Banking is pretty straightforward with Bitcoin being the only option. This can be viewed as a positive or negative depending on your willingness to use Bitcoin. It does look to be a new currency that is starting to get firmly rooted with mainstream companies all over the world which is a big positive. FortuneJack does list everything in terms of Bitcoins, so you will need to have a very basic understanding of them to use the site. The guide we posted at the beginning of this review should be plenty of knowledge for you.
The bottom line is it’s a cool option for Bitcoin and a definite win for players that like a lot of slot options and quality casino-style games. For everyone else, it’s a middle of the road casino that will come down to personal preference whether you want to play there or not.

As you've likely already noticed, the FFVII Remake is filled to the brim with small details, references and easter eggs, so as someone who usually hunts down details as a job, I wanted to see how many references I could spot across my multiple playthroughs, so I've been keeping track of all of this in a notepad as I've been playing. This is definitely not all the details, but it should hopefully cover most of them. I hope this can give you more appreciation for all the effort the developers poured into this game.
That said, the definition of a detail/easter egg can vary a lot, so I want to establish some rules:

Spoilers for all of Part 1 in the Remake. Anything that is in spoilers below refers to spoilers for the original game beyond it. No spoilers will be unmarked
I'm not going to count story foreshadowing, whether it's stuff about the original (Rude purposefully missing Tifa, Barret reacting to Elmyra when she says she's not related by blood to her daughter, etc.) or foreshadowing for some of the new stuff with the ending and new plotlines. That's its own separate deal (only exception is when it's a visual detail)
I'll mention some stuff that references the original or some details that were preserved, but I'm not going to go into every single thing that was carried from the original. This is a remake, duh, bunch of stuff will be the same as the original

With that said, let's get started! Here are all the details I could find, classified by chapters:
GENERAL:

At random, but one of Barret's post-battle quotes can be him humming the FFVII victory theme, which he also does at a couple other points in the game
Posters for LOVELESS, the famous play advertised in the original can be seen all across the game
Advertisements for Stamp, the propaganda-oriented children's show, can be seen across several areas (even before he is relevant or even mentioned)
Advertisements for "Banora White Apple Juice" can be found at some points, a reference to the dumbapples from Crisis Core
A hair tonic advertisement can also be spotted at some points, claiming to offer the perfect radiant and spiky hair, a reference to Cloud often being jokingly referred to follow the trope of "spiky-haired anime swordsmen"
Vending machines for drinks can be found across the game. Some of them feature the Bomb enemy, while others feature "Clear Icicle", a likely reference to the area from the original, Icicle Inn
Benches feature the checkpoint logo for the original, as they sort of act as replacements for the checkpoints. The logo itself represents a large C, standing for Checkpoint and is in fact not a question mark as I had been lied to believe for many years
Walking in opposite directions of where you're told to go will often result in exclusive dialogue, where characters often question Cloud's sense of direction to amusing extents. Each location tends to have at least two or three lines for going in the wrong direction, the amount of unique lines for this is staggering
Cloud's punisher mode has him positioning his sword in the same stance Sephiroth used to wield his Masamune blade during his days as a SOLDIER (seen less predominantly in the future during the events of FFVII). This might be a callback to how Cloud used to idolize Sephiroth as a SOLDIER and wanting to be more like him, subconsciously adopting his battle stance. Similarly, the normal operator mode stance is more like how Zack held his sword
The circlet is likely a reference to the circlet worn by Final Fantasy VIII's Edea (granted, the circlet has been reocurring in many Final Fantasies, but this one's quite similar to Edea's)
The fury ring features the kanji 怒, which stands for, as you might imagine, "fury"

CHAPTER 1:

Just like in the original, defeating the first two Shinra soldiers at the start will cause Cloud to level up to level 7
Barret calls Cloud "Stamp", mocking him for being a loyal doggie to Shinra. This is referencing the character of Stamp. Most players will likely not have met Stamp yet, but those that took enough time to look around their surroundings will have already spotted him in the ads at the train station
Dodging all lasers without being hit will result in unique dialogue from Jessie. Getting hit some times will result in the dialogue most players will see and getting hit multiple times will have Jessie question if Cloud has a self-damaging fetish

CHAPTER 2:

Since Cloud meets Aerith in the same area where the opening of the game takes place, it is possible to go down the same alley Aerith first stared and even spot the broken mako pipe
Going to the opposite end of that alley, you can look through a grate to see the station, where you'll be able to spot the Huntsman, the boss of the chapter you later fight, commanding his troops to catch the terrorists with a unique line
A Shinra troop seems to recognize Cloud in chapter 2 before he leaps on the train. Playing with Japanese voices will however reveal he says "Wait, that sword-", indicating he actually recognized Zack's sword from the time he was a SOLDIER
Kyrie can be met as early as chapter 2, as a passenger on the train. If Cloud approaches her, she'll try to distance herself, perhaps to avoid suspicion given Cloud's appearance as a warrior

CHAPTER 3:

At the start of the chapter Kyrie can be seen again getting off the train. She is later seen spreading rumors among her fellow grounders near Seventh Heaven. The cool thing here is that while Kyrie is technically a character from an FFVII novel, she is actually taking the place of an NPC in Sector 7 in the original who loved to spread rumours, making that NPC a somewhat relevant character now!
Most NPCs from the original are still there, Kyrie as rumor girl, the two recruit guards, the special spot guy, the embracing couple at the station, the station manager, etc. Same applies for a lot of NPCs across the game, like the guy sleeping on the train among many others
You can also spot the Shinra Middle Manager reuniting with his family after you get off the train with some unique dialogue
Random NPC mentions having moved in from Junon
Seventh Heaven features a picture frame showing a screenshot of the original Seventh Heaven from the PS1 game
While the jukebox is a newly added gameplay mechanic in the Remake, an uninteractable jukebox was actually present in the original game in Seventh Heaven, this time being repurposed into the jukebox mechanic
Also, standing next to most jukeboxes in the game will result in the characters dancing/nodding their heads/tapping their feet
The darts rankings will feature a lot of the other Avalanche members mentioned later by Barret in his date scene in Chapter 14, as well as characters like Johnny
Activating the pinball machine elevator will result in the screen showing a 777,777 score (it also features seven Bomb enemies), being a reference to both the number 7 being considered a lucky number in gambling/slot machines as well as the game's title
When entering Tifa's room, you can spot some boots and a purse next to her bed. The boots are actually the same she wore during the Nibelheim incident with her cowboy outfit. It seems this theme might've been extended to the rest of Nibelheim, which in the brief flashback we get at the start seems to show they are reimagining it more as a Wild West-style town, a beautiful new take on this iconic location
If all sidequests are completed, Tifa will ask Cloud what outfit she should wear, being given three options. The first is mature, being the dress from the original game. The third option is "exotic", which has her wearing a traditional Japanese-inspired dress. The second option however may confuse some, as while it's labeled as "sporty", it has her wearing a traditional Chinese dress. However, the original Japanese version actually refers to it as more of a fighting outfit. This means it may likely be a small nod to the iconic Street Fighter character Chun Li. Skipping these side quests and as such this event will default Tifa's outfit to mature, as a reference to it being the only choice in the original game

CHAPTER 4:

The cats around Jessie's house are meant to look like and represent Jessie, Biggs, Wedge and Cloud
Jessie is mentioned having wanted to be an actress, trying to get her big break at the Gold Saucer. She might in fact be referring to the large theater found there and the play that happens during the date in the original, as in her letter she claims she was cast in the role of a princess, the same princess that your date plays as
Jessie's mom making pizza could be an allusion to the plate, the rotten pizza as they call it, dividing her and her daughter

CHAPTER 5:

Once getting off the train, in the original you could walk several screens towards the direction of the screen and reach a special area where you could grind out enemies. In the Remake, it is possible to also run in this opposite direction (away from Barret who needs help), which will result in Tifa questioning why Cloud is running in the wrong direction and what is he looking for (but not stopping him), a nod to players of the original trying to find that easter egg. However, reaching the end of that section will allow the player to actually find a hidden service room, inside of which they can find a set of crates for the chance of a drop, a small reward for curious players trying to find this easter egg

CHAPTER 6:

There's a section towards the end where you can find summon materia inside one of the vents. Redoing that chapter and redoing that section will obviously not result in summon materia being there, but instead will feature one of the manuscripts, the only one that can be found just laying around the overworld instead of being obtained via special means or just beating bosses on Hard

CHAPTER 7:

It is possible to completely ignore the ability to nerf the Airbuster by keeping all the keycards and not using them (only the first is obligatory for story reasons, but it does not nerf the Airbuster in any way), resulting in a far more challenging boss fight that makes for a great self-imposed challenge on Hard, where the Airbuster will spam his stun fingers and BBs one after the other. Managing to beat him will result in you being able to keep the keycards in your special inventory past that chapter

CHAPTER 8:

When first gaining control in the church, walking towards the door allows you to hear Reno from beyond it, in reference to the original
While fighting Reno, Aerith asks to not step on the flowers. If either Cloud or Reno steps on them during the fight, she'll get a little mad. For Reno in particular, she claims "You're gonna catch holy hell!", which is a reference to one of Reno's subordinates telling him that in the original after he steps over the flowers
The barrels thrown in the original can be found in the church attic
After leaving the church, Aerith asks "shall we mosey on?" and Cloud replies with "Let's". Not only is this a reference to the endgame of the original, where Cloud says "Let's mosey" before the final battle with Sephiroth, but this is likely hinting at this Remake establishing that Cloud picked this line up from Aerith and that is why he says it before the game's endgame sequence, to honor her legacy and get back at Sephiroth, which will make the whole ending sequence be even more impactful
More of a mistake than a reference, but the sector 5 area incorrectly uses the Sector 6 skybox (the texture on the sky), resulting in the Sector 6 plate being seen over Sector 5. This is likely because of Sectors 5 and 6 taking place in the same area, but I'm baffled they didn't include a transition for the skybox
One of the NPCs can be seen mentioning Costa del Sol as a recommended honeymoon location. He also brings up the tour of the Shinra building, referring to the very same tour Cloud and the others go through later in the game
A Don Tonberry, Fat Chocobo, a Moogle and a Cactuar can be seen drawn on the blackboard at the Leaf House
Inside the Leaf House, as well as some other locations in the game, a calendar can be seen, which features the year marked as 0007. This is in reference to FFVII taking place on the year 0007 of the calendar used within the game's world
When you go pick out flowers with Aerith, your choices will actually make a difference: picking a mix of all flowers or picking only yellow flowers will result in a Chocobo pattern. Picking only white flowers will result in a Moogle pattern and picking only foxtails will result in a Cactuar pattern
If you put Rude to sleep when fighting him, he mumbles "Reno..." as a voiceline in his sleep
When Rude receives a phone call, his phone plays the fanfare theme. This is likely a reference to one of the three dudes in Advent Children whose name I can't be bothered to recall also having said ringtone

CHAPTER 9: (whoo boy, strap in because there's a billion references here)

Not giving Aerith a high five will result in her insisting Cloud to give her one. After a while she'll complain about losing circulation in her arm
In Evergreen Park, before leaving, Cloud can head into the slide and enter inside, sliding down with his arms up like a little kid. He can also skip across the tires on the ground
While heading to Wall Market, advertisements for the singer Akila can be seen, with the singer himself being found at Drunkard's. The signs have "Midgar Blues" written in Japanese, which is the name of the disk he gives you
Akila is also found written as the donator of the flowers Cloud receives at the colosseum, stated to be the executive chairman of Cloud's fan club. Aerith's flowers instead come from florist Watanabe, the name of a shop (and supposedly a florist) found in the area. Interestingly, while Cloud is addressed as "Cloud-san", Aerith is referred to as "Aerith-sama" out of deep admiration
Easy to miss, but when talking with Johnny before the first match at the colosseum, it is possible to find a bottle on the table, which Johnny claims was offered as something that can provide extra strength. If you drink it, it raises the chances of getting the Sam quests
After defeating each opponent every round at the colosseum, you can find them defeated in the room next to the gate, each with their own unique dialogue (yes, even the robots)
When the gatekeeper asks if you're ready, you can say "no" if you need more time to prepare. The cool detail is that at first he gets angry at you for taking so long, but the more matches you win the nicer he becomes to you, telling you to take your time and not push yourself too hard
Pretty obvious so it may be redundant to mention, but after a victory in the Colosseum or Shinra simulator, each character will do their victory animation from the original game
Lots of unique dialogue at the colosseum: unique dialogue for not leaving the arena after a fight, unique dialogue for using particular summons during specific battles like the Hell House, unique dialogue for dying on the Hell House (announcers mocking you), as well as dialogue changing depending on certain attacks you pull off or fail to pull off
Entering the back alleyway hidden behind the Honey Bee Inn when first entering Wall Market will result in you encountering Miss Folia, the teacher at the Leaf House orphanage, who is revealed to have a night job as a honeygirl
One of the npcs can mention the drink "icicle vodka" from a town in the far north, which is referencing once again the Icicle Inn, a location from the original
An NPC working at one of the places at Wall Market can be seen talking with a woman, asking her not to visit him at work. It turns out this woman is his mom, who came to deliver his lunch box and the man is embarrassed his mom is still treating him like a kid
A certain NPC will tell Cloud that the place he's eating at is full, but will actually invite him if he has crossdressed, showing some questionable double standards
One of the signs at Wall Market indicates a pub/shop called "Therion" in Japanese, likely a reference to one of the main characters of Octopath Traveler. That game was also developed by Square (with some members of the staff like the composer also working on the Remake) and is often considered a bit of a sister game to Final Fantasy with many of its general mechanics and motifs
When first arriving at Don Corneo's residence, Aerith will point out "I think we might've found our man". This is lost to non-Japanese players, as the sign on top of his residence reads the kanji "古留根尾", with each kanji being individually readable as "Co-r-ne-o"
At the restaurant in Wall Market, one of the customers will ask for "more of that Malboro stuff", suggesting the chef puts Malboro contents in his food. I suppose that solves the mystery as to why his food gives everyone such a massive stomach ache...
Choosing the lightning materia at the restaurant during "the party never stops" will result in the lighting of the shop going out, causing the scene to humorously play over a black screen
Jules, Jay and Ronnie at the gym are all based on character models from the original. However, their names are likely based from three famous bodybuilders, being Jules Bacon, Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman
Jules's name in Japanese is written similarly to Andrea's name. The Ultimania reveals that the two are actually siblings
When Madam M begins to dress up Aerith, she says "peek and I'll poke your eyes out", a reference to Aerith asking for no peeking in the original. It is possible to follow after and approach them, but Madam M will scold Cloud before he can even see them
Depending on how many quests you completed in Chapter 5, Aerith will get one of three different dresses, which will result in different reactions from onlookers, as well as different scenes and completely unique remixes of her theme, otherwise not heard anywhere else in the game. Attaining her red dress will result in fireworks exploding in the background, which is likely a reference to the iconic date scene at the Gold Saucer in the original where fireworks are seen in the background, even being referenced in the name of that track, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is called back if the player chooses Aerith as the date in future Remake parts
When first entering the Honey Bee Inn, you can interact with any of the four rooms before taking part in the dances: one will feature Johnny's father (also previously seen across Wall Market, and the other will feature a honeygirl getting prepared (a reference to a room in the original). The other two rooms allow you to look through their peepholes like in the original: one of them features Palmer doing some roleplaying as a bee catcher, while the other features a man getting acupuncture
During the honey bee inn dancing sequences, performing poorly will result in a series of different reactions: the honeygirls will respond awkwardly if Cloud performs badly during practice and Aerith audibly cringes if Cloud screws up the main dance
- However, performing excellently will result in the honey girls praising Cloud (even saying deelicious, a pun on "bee") and Aerith praising Cloud during his dance. Similarly, performing badly will result in the crowd being pretty mild and silent, but performing well will result in the crowd going wild and cheering
- Performing well will also result in gaining the disk for the "Let the Battles Begin Remake" during practice (requiring a perfect score of 10) and Andrea's earrings in the main dance (requiring a high score, beyond that a perfect score makes no difference). The earrings are purely cosmetic, as it doesn't seem possible not to be chosen by Corneo. Interestingly however, the earrings possess a bee pattern on them
- Similarly, Andrea's endorsement letter features a bee sigil on it. The envelope is stylish, which clashes with Madam M's endorsement letter, which is done in the style of a traditional Japanese scroll
During the dance scene with Andrea, some of the dance moves are references: during the final sequence Cloud has to perform two squats and the dance ends with him positioning one hand on the floor and the other to the side, mimicking his position when he gets off the train at the start. Furthermore, during the final dance Cloud spins in place, in reference to the spinning during the Gold Saucer date performance, where all actors move around by spinning
After the honey bee inn scene, it is possible to interact with a massive number of characters as crossdressing Cloud:
- Returning to the honey bee inn, it is possible to spot Palmer, who begs his secretary to adjourn his meetings so he can have more fun in Wall Market. He also reveals he's a regular at Madam M's
- Talking to the honey bee inn receptionist, he will praise Cloud for his fantastic dance moves
- Entering inside will allow you to talk with Andrea, who tells Cloud he has already planned to deliver his gear with Leslie
- Going to the room to the side will allow you to find Johnny's father asleep, but the honey girl next to him asks you not to wake him up
- The room with the guy getting an acupuncture isn't changed much (though it is mildly different), but the room that previously had Palmer now features a random NPC doing nurse play with a honeygirl. She uses a massive stinger-colored syringe model that is completely unique to this easter egg. Shows you the level of detail that they went out of their way to make a model for such an obscure easter egg
- If "the party never stops" is completed, you can also talk to the boutique man's father inside the inn
- Heading back to the massage parlor, if you have done the Madam M side quests (otherwise this is not available), you'll be able to talk to her and Chocobo Sam, with Madam M revealing that she made Cloud's outfit in advance as she was making Aerith's dress too under request by Andrea (which might be where Aerith learned of the plan too), claiming it a favor towards Cloud, who she now sees as a friend. Sam will remark on not understanding the appeal of crossdressing, but Madam M knocks him for being so close-minded
- On the other hand, if you did Sam's sidequests, heading to the Chocobo ranch you'll be able to talk to him, where he'll reveal he was the one who donated the outfit to Andrea
- Talking to Jules will result in him saying he came running to see your dancing and offers you to swing by the gym again after you're back in more normal clothes. This conversation will not trigger if you did not do Burning Thighs, for the sake of consistency
- Talking to Chadley will result in him not recognizing Cloud, but experiencing an "emotional response" at his beauty
- If you did The Price of Thievery, heading to the entrance of Wall Market will allow you to talk with Mireille
- The gatekeeper at the colosseum seems to recognize you, but requests that if you want to fight that you do so in your normal outfit, despite how amusing it would otherwise be
- The weapons shop guy also has some amusing dialogue ("your beauty is deadlier than any weapon in this shop")
- Easy to miss, but it is possible to talk to Johnny again
- Many NPCs in general will comment about Cloud's beauty. One amusing conversation in particular revolves around a man in front of the boutique who is always gawking at other girls, with his girlfriend getting increasingly angrier over the several conversations you can trigger until she straight up gets fed of him for being a scumbag
Outside Corneo's mansion, some packages for him can be seen, including a large cross-shaped iron structure. This is actually the same structure seen in the sex dungeon, likely ordered by Corneo as a replacement or something
After being thrown into the sex dungeon, before heading upstairs, it is possible to approach Aerith or Tifa, who will pose for Cloud and ask how their outfits look as they pose. Aerith will even claim that Cloud is definitely into crossdressing
When gaining control of Aerith in Corneo's mansion, it is possible to return to the room she first went in with Cloud and open an entrance to the sex dungeon, where she'll find an otherwise inaccessible chest. To enter she must step on a plate with the kanji for up and down, which will play a unique stepping animation otherwise never seen anywhere else in the game

CHAPTER 11:

The train graveyard features a chest out of sight that contains one gil inside. The ghosts will mock Cloud for falling for their prank

CHAPTER 13:

In Chapter 13, Andrea can be talked to in Wall Market, triggering this dialogue: "Did you find what you were looking for?"; "Thanks to you I did"; "Good. Now never let it go again". This could on one hand be interpreted as Cloud having found Tifa in the mansion, as Andrea's help allowed him to infiltrate it, with the "never let it go again" referring to , or could also be interpreted as Cloud finding himself/his own identity more thanks to him. The quote is somewhat reminiscent of "What you pursue will be yours, but you will lose something dear" by Cait Sith in the original, which is later shown to refer to Aerith. Andrea essentially says the opposite, saying "you found what you pursued, now don't ever lose it", so I wonder if there is a bit of a dual meaning with this scene
In Elmyra's flashback, when she receives news of her husband's death, the envelope on the table can be seen featuring a stamp with the Shinra logo on it

CHAPTER 14:

Common knowledge, but depending on your actions in the game, you can attain a special scene in Elmyra's garden with either Aerith, Tifa or even Barret, as a newly re-imagined version of the date mechanics from the original, which allow the player to make the story feel more personal by deciding who Cloud harbors romantic feelings for (with the developers having often stated that there is no "canon" romance option, as that is determined by each and every player's experience)
If the player has not previously interacted with Mireille in previous chapter sidequests, she'll introduce herself for the first time to Cloud, Barret and Tifa in Chapter 14 for the sake of consistency, same with some other npcs
After retrieving Johnny's wallet from Kyrie in Chapter 14, inspecting it in the main menu will show a render of how it actually looks like, revealing the downright horrendous taste Johnny has
Just like in the original, you can go back to Corneo's sex dungeon to free Kotch. This time however he'll actually leave some materia behind as thanks
In chapter 14, you can finally gain access to the Corneo vaults. Closer inspection of the crates will actually show that they sport chibi Corneo as a pattern on each side
Raiding all the vaults will grant access to the Ruby, Emerald and Diamond tiaras. As many have likely noticed, these are in the shape of the three iconic weapon creatures from the original

CHAPTER 15:

The boss of the chapter, the Valkyrie, was originally fought on the elevator sequence (similarly, the Swordipede in Chapter 17 is based on a common enemy, while the Hell House and Eligor from the Train Graveyard were also originally common enemies)
Before entering the area with the boss, there's a scene where the characters stare into the sunset. Staying there for a couple minutes will show that the track that plays there actually has several phases to it and it's a stunning track that was likely unfortunately missed by many players

CHAPTER 16:

At the start of Chapter 16, when heading through the walkway with the massive lights, looking straight into the lights will result in the characters covering their eyes
After entering Shinra headquarters and switching to Tifa, instead of jumping to the platforms, head back and go down back to the garage with her. This will play a unique remix of the original track otherwise not heard anywhere else (aside fro a couple instances in the building where you also go back, such as heading back down the stairs). Insane to think they made a whole track only for going back, give it a listen!
The stairs sequence is completely scripted, as the characters will always rubberband off Cloud and not proceed more than a set number of floors ahead and the speed of Cloud is determined by the floors he's on. Tifa will always end up first and it's only possible to barely beat Barret. However, after the sequence is over, it is possible to go back all the way down (this time not slowing down the player at all) and take the elevator instead (though that will not play that sequence of cutscenes). Going down at random instances also triggers unique dialogue
The memorial museum hides a few details:
- In a picture featuring some of the early employees at Shinra, when it was still a small arms manufacturer, a man can be spotted at the center wearing the mask of Shinra, a character from Final Fantasy X-2. This is a reference to the fact that FFX and FFX-2 are actually considered prequels of FFVII by both Kitase and Nojima, the latter having suggested that this President Shinra is actually the far descendant of Shinra from FFX-2 many years into the future, when the people of Spira became able to travel in space and left their planet to travel to another one, the planet of Gaia, slowly setting the stage for the events in FFVII
- President Shinra's golden gun can be seen at the exhibition. The same gun model is used by him later in the scene where he threatens Barret
- An image of mayor Domino shaking hands with President Shinra can be seen, likely the moment when power was handed over to the company. The trophy next to it reads "in special recognition to the Shinra Electric Power Company", with a signature by Domino below it
Domino and Hart (Hut in the Japanese version), just like in the original, are references to Domino's Pizza and Pizza Hut, referencing the rotten pizza slices that are the Midgar plates
In the stunning virtual sequence showcasing the story of the ancients, we get a glimpse at a recreation of a place they lived at. This architecture strongly resembles that of the capital of the Ancients visited later in the original
In the recreation room, Cloud encounters a former Shinra guard who recognizes him from the old days. He mentions he'll go grab Kunsel, who is a SOLDIER character from Crisis Core that was a friend of Zack
Taking the wrong path in the ventilation shaft will allow you to find a hidden materia, otherwise not seen as it is out of sight
Red XIII can be spotted in the boss fight arena before you leave the area, which will highlight him in a cutscene once you leave

CHAPTER 17:

In Aerith's room it is possible to find several visual details. This includes several lab tests and sheets that have been painted over by Aerith and her mother, a book about Stamp, as well as two sets of slippers, large ones for Ifalna and small ones for Aerith. Boxes of crayons can also be seen next to the drawings on the wall and across the room
Speaking of the drawing, it shows a beautiful rendition of (MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR THE ORIGINAL ENDING) the Promised Land, with the flow of life showing the cetra, the humans, several animals and even some summons. At the center of it all lies a yellow flower, which the game states at a couple points being a symbol of "reunion". With the flowers obviously symbolizing Aerith herself as well, this reunion symbolism alludes to the ending of FFVII and the true nature of the Promised Land. Similarly, the flower appears to be warding off the meteor with the power of the lifestream, once again a reference to the final scene. This whole drawing depicts the game's ending with beautiful subtlety
A structure that resembles Cosmo Canyon observatory can also be seen in the drawing, so I wonder if Ifalna had somehow been there at some point?
Just like in the original, the 70 floors of the Shinra building are a reference to the number 7, cheekily used across the game in several instances (like sector 7 being where the main characters reside)
The communication machines used in Chapter 17 have PHS written on them, a reference to the PHS communication devices in the original game, used to swap playable characters
During his battle, Rufus tosses some coins up in the air. A close up of them in a shot reveals the writing "Shinra Inc. - A new era - Reign Supreme - Ever forward", symbolizing the new era started by Rufus
When Barret, Aerith and Red are surrounded, Barret says he's willing to sacrifice his life to let her escape. This is a nod to an early scrapped concept of the original FFVII where Barret was considered to sacrifice himself and die a heroic death, which was ultimately scrapped for a far more meaningful one. This is also referenced in the stairs sequence, when Barret begs to be given a last stand rather than having to deal with stairs
Both the motorbike and the truck Cloud and Tifa steal can be seen in Chapter 16 as you explore the Shinra HQ lobby

The Singularity Sorcerer

Intro

Sometimes, you don't want to paint legions of gods, letting you summon a hoard of celestial superbeings at will. No, once in a while, you just want to build a snowman, work together with your servants, and blow up a few planets from halfway across the multiverse. That's what we're doing today.

The Build

We start with 2 levels of Witch with the Invoker Archetype, then take 1 level of Rogue with the Dreamthief archetype choosing Kindness, and finally switch over to Crossblooded Sorcerer with the Orc and Psychic Bloodlines plus the Havoc and Piercing Bloodline Mutations for the remaining 17 levels.
For our race, we'll be a Samsaran with Mystic Past Life. We've seen it all, time and time again, and now our knowledge accumulated over a million lives will aid us end this world. For our age, Venerable gives us a sweet +3 Charisma (and also +3 Int/Wis and -6 StDex/Con).
The only stat that matters here is Charisma, so we'll put an 18 there via point-buy. +3 from age, increase it by +1 at levels 4/8/12/16/20, for a base total of 26. Put some points into Dex and Con as well so you don't die before reaching level 20.
At first level, we start out with 2 Traits, and can take a third one by also taking a drawback. As a Metamagic Master with a Magical Lineage, we can apply 2 Spell Levels worth of Metamagic for free to Battering Blast. We're Adopted, letting us take an extra race trait while ignoring racial restrictions, so we're Helpful. The drawback doesn't really matter, so let's just go with not having a shadow.
We get a Feat every odd level, for 10 in total: Extra Hex, Demonic Obedience (Mestama), Planar Infusion (Hell), Improved Planar Infusion (Hell), 5 Metamagic Feats (Enlarge, Reach, Quicken, Empower, Elemental (Fire)), and finally Spell Perfection (choosing Battering Blast).
We originally worshiped Mestama. The Mother of Witches taught us well, but she wants to continue existing. After receiving her Elder's Grace boon at level 16 and becoming a Ghost, she no longer seemed interesting, so we stopped performing our Obedience and started worshiping Rovagug instead. Luckily, not having a body isn't an obstacle with an Amulet of Grasping Souls.

The First Snowman

To start off, we cast Simulacrum twice, creating a Snow Clone of a Winter Hag and a Blood Hag. Thanks to our Coven Hex, we count as a Hag for joining a Hag Coven.
With all 3 members taking a Full-Round Action, a Coven can cast several Spell-Like Abilities. Winter Hags let any coven they are in use Simulacrum as a Coven SLA. These SLAs normally take as long to cast as the spell they replicate, but the Coven overrides this, so Simulacrum now only takes 1 round to cast instead of 12 hours. A Simulacrum only has half the hit dice or levels of the original, but luckily most creatures' abilities aren't tied to their hit dice. It does mean our copies of ourself are only Witch 2 / Sorc 7 / Rogue 1, but the Hags retain all abilities of the original.
We'll need a lot of snow copies of ourselves, so let's start the mass production. Blood Hags are important as well, since the Caster Level of the coven's Simulacrum is equal to the highest CL among participants, which needs to be at least half the HD of the original target to be copied. Each coven produces another coven every 3 rounds. We've seen this sort of exponential progression with the Painter, but here we're going much faster. Multiplying the number of covens by a million requires only 3 x ln(1 000 000) / ln(2) = 59.8 rounds. Each round is 6 seconds, so that only takes around 6 minutes.

Dimensional Snow Angels

A few million snow-clones we can fit in the middle of nowhere, but we'll run out of space far too soon. Let's fix that. Next to be turned into a Simulacrum: Solars!
These angels get level 20 Cleric casting. Since it's granted by an ability not tied to their hit dice, having half as many HD makes no difference. The spell we want to mass cast is Greater Create Demiplane, and the Solar even has a 3/day Permanency SLA to make the demiplanes permanent. The Create Demiplane spells have an expensive Focus component, so each Solar will need one of those 500gp tuning forks. Luckily Solars can use Wish 1/day, which they will be using to duplicate Fabricate while ignoring up to 10000gp worth of material costs. That's more than enough to create the tuning fork it needs.
The first Demiplane will be a sphere with a radius of 1 mile and 2.5 feet. In the center, a single 2.5 ft radius sphere gets left empty. The remainder is divided into 5-ft thick shells. The first shell around the center is filled with 1 gate per 5-ft cube. Each of these gates leads to a similar demiplane, with a radius of exactly 1 mile minus 2.5 feet. The center here is filled with the entry gate, and the rest is divided into 5-ft shells. The second shell of the original sphere and the first shell of the second spheres are each filled with gates leading to a sphere with a radius of 1 mile minus 7.5 ft, which are otherwise identical to the second spheres. The third shell of the first sphere, the second shell of the second spheres, and the first shell of the third spheres are also all filled with gates to yet more demiplanes, these with a radius of 1 mile minus 12.5 ft. This recursion continues on until the final layer of each sphere, where each gate goes to a sphere with 2.5 ft radius and no further gates. The actual spheres will be larger due to how Create Demiplane works, but that's the space we'll be using. Additionally, the spheres will all have the Timeless (spell and effect durations don't run out), No Gravity, and Enhanced Magic (all Magic) traits.
If that previous paragraph made your head hurt, don't worry. Basically, it's a whole lot of recursive spheres, massively increasing the amount of space accessible within 1 mile from the center of the first sphere.
We'll be at the center of the first sphere while Medium in size. Normally that would mean we occupy a 5-ft cube, but the math is hard enough already, so we'll assume a 5-ft diameter sphere (2.5 ft radius) instead.
But how much space is there within 1 mile? A lot more than you'd think. Calculating it manually is near impossible, so I wrote a script to do it instead. The result? 1.3478 x 10¹²⁹³. That's the number of 5-ft cubes contained in this recursive sphere, and it's 1293 digits long. For reference, the number of 5-ft cubes contained in our entire universe is 79 digits long.

Fey and Puppets

We have our recursive sphere, now what do we do with it? First off, we'll need a lot of copies of ourselves. Enough to fill the Hypersphere.
1293 digits seems intimidating, but recall how fast we increase: Multiplying our number of covens by 1 000 000 takes 6 minutes. That's an increase in 6 digits every 6 minutes. For the exact value, we can use the same formula as above, 3 x ln(1.3478 x 10¹²⁹³) / ln(2) = 12887 rounds, or just under 21.5 hours. Exponential increases are scarily effective. We actually do this over the course of the previous step to keep the tide of Solars coming, but that doesn't slow things down too much.
Our copies are too big for what we have planned. Medium size takes up a 5-ft cube. We want Fine size, which uses up only a 0.5-ft cube, so we can fit 1000 in each of the smallest Demiplanes consisting of a single 5-ft cube (simplified to spheres for the above calculations, but PF runs on squares and cubes). For that, we will create simulacra of Atomie with the Young template. They are Diminutive by default, and the template decreases them to Fine. The simulacra of ourselves then cast Marionette Possession to take the Atomies' bodies. Have the Solars make some more timeless demiplanes and dump the original snow-clone bodies there. This means we can now fit 1296 digits worth of copies in the sphere.
We ourselves will create a simulacrum of Baba Yaga and have it craft a Trompe L'Oeil (not a Simulacrum) of Nocticula and possess that via a Diadem of Control. Yes, we're possessing a Demon Lord, there's nothing preventing that, if only because the devs thought nobody would be crazy enough.

Coven Hyper-Sphere

Now, how do we actually make use of our Sphere?
As a Witch, we have the following 2 hexes: Coven and Scar. Coven lets us (and our Simulacra) use the Aid Another action to increase the Caster Level of another with the Hex by 1, if they are within 30ft. Scar lets us use any Hex at a range of 1 mile, but they first have to touch us as a standard action.
When you have 1296 digits worth of things that need to touch you, and the heat death of the universe will be in 100 digits worth of years, that's a problem. Luckily, there is a solution: Readied Actions.
By having each of our simulacra (possessing Fine fey) ready an action to touch us with the Scar Hex as soon as we appear, and having the Solars ready a Wish to move us to the next location once we've been touched, we can complete the entire process in 1 turn. This is one of the more silly abuses of pure Rules As Written, commonly known as the Peasant Railgun. Except instead of passing a bucket between cities in 6 seconds, we're getting touched by more creatures than there are particles in the universe to turn into nothing but scars (they have no mechanical effect on us though, so no problem).
Next, let's do something about that puny +1 CL from each of them. First off, we have our Simulacra cast Rune of Rule (Kindness version) on each other to increase that to +5. The Dreamthief's Dreamshard Focus gives us the abilities of a Kindness Phantom, adding +1. We're wearing a Ring of Tactical Precision, for another +1.
That means each Simulacra gives us +7 CL. Rune of Rule has an expensive material component, but by having our Simulacra cast False Life and Blood Money (they have 2 Strength) we can bypass that.
We also have the Helpful trait. This won't help if we're using Rune of Rule, but since the Rune only works once, all other times we'll instead be using 1 base +1 Dreamthief for a +2 bonus, which the trait increases to +4 CL, and the Ring increases to +5 CL.
With 1.3478 x 10¹²⁹⁶ snow-clones of ourselves giving us CL, that means a CL of 9.4347 x 10¹²⁹⁶ when they activate Rune of Rule, or 6.7391 x 10¹²⁹⁶ otherwise.

Force of Will

Before we shatter reality, we need enough control over our abilities to completely bend magic to our will. As a Sorcerer, that means maximizing our Charisma.
For some of the items we need (Headband, Tome, Luthier's Rapier), we can simply buy them. We'll need a DC 30 Use Magic Device check to appear Good so we don't take a negative level from the Holy weapon property while Evil, but we auto-succeed that even on a natural 1.
A Simulacrum of Nocticula, The First Succubus, gives us +6 Charisma via Profane Ascension. We're possessing a copy of her, and it requires "an act of passion", I'll let you fill in the mental image. Even without Coven, our Caster Level is high enough - 17 Sorcerer + 2 Enhanced Magic Demiplane = 19, which lets us make Simulacra of 38 HD creatures, more than enough for Nocticula.
By casting Greater Shadow Conjuration we can duplicate the Mammon’s Mantle version of Genius Avaricious without material cost for +5 Charisma. Mammon may be annoyed that we're not paying him, but he won't be a problem for much longer.
Per the rules for going insane, we can obtain a madness of our choice via Bestow Curse, letting us obtain the Derro's Madness, which grants +6 Untyped Charisma and -6 Wisdom.
And finally, our brief worship of Mestama permanently turned us into a Ghost, which get +4 Charisma. Luckily, not having a body isn't an obstacle with an Amulet of Grasping Souls.
Putting it all together: 18 Base +3 Age +5 Ability increases at levels 4/8/12/16/20 +6 Enhancement - Headband of Alluring Charisma +5 Inherent - Tome of Leadership +4 Sacred - Luthier's Rapier +6 Profane - Simulacrum of Nocticula's Profane Ascention +5 Untyped - Greater Shadow Conjuration into Genius Avaricious +6 Untyped - Derro's Madness +4 Untyped - Ghost Template =62 Charisma, or a +26 Charisma Modifier. Pretty good.

Tools of Destruction

We need a way to use all the CL from our Hyperdimensional Witchball. Battering Blast is perfect for dealing Technically Finite amounts of damage. A rare damage spell with no cap on how much damage it can do, provided you have a high enough Caster Level. And that, we have.
Battering Blast creates many spheres. But how much damage does each sphere do? By itself, each does only 5d6. Blood Intensity increases the number of dice by our Charisma modifier. Orc Bloodline + Blood Havoc + Invoke Patron (Reckoning) turns each (d6) into (d6+3). Maximize (added via Rod) turns that into (6+3). Empower multiples all of that by x1.5, but interacts weirdly with Maximize. In total, that's: (5+26) x ((6+3) + (d6+3)/2) = 341 to 418 force damage per sphere, average 380. A lot better than the measly 5d6.
At times, you just want to set the world on fire. We can do that. Elemental Spell (Fire) turns the force damage into fire damage. Fire is a lot more commonly resisted compared to force - but it also has plenty of support. We are Infused with the Powers of Hell, letting us turn Fire damage into Hellfire. Half the damage of Hellfire bypasses any resistances and immunities to Fire, but that half damage doesn't affect Evil creatures.
How many spheres do we have? We get one per 5 CL, which means we get 1.3478 x 10¹²⁹⁶ x 7 / 5 = 1.8869 x 10^1296. That means the number of spheres has 1296 digits.
Here's why we're a Samsaran: Mystic Past Life lets us use a spell from another spell list of the same Type. Psychic Bloodline changes the type of our casting to Psychic, so we can snag Glimpse of The Akashic from the Psychic spell list. Samsarans were printed before Psychic magic was released so the reminder text doesn't mention it, but as it's the same Type of magic for both classes, it works.
What does Glimpse of The Akashic actually do? EVERYTHING. What we care about: For 1 minute, we gain +CL to all Skill Checks, Damage Rolls, and Combat Maneuver Checks. Those 1.8869 x 10¹²⁹⁶ Spheres? We add our CL of 6.7391 x 10¹²⁹⁶ to the damage of each one. (Or 9.4347 x 10¹²⁹⁶ if it uses CL when rolling instead of CL when cast.) Which also gets x1.5 from Empower. Our bonus to Perception is now our CL of 6.7391 x 10¹²⁹⁶ so we see the entire Multiverse at once so we can target EVERYTHING. We also get that as a knowledge bonus. Suddenly gaining Omniscience has been known to cause insanity, but luckily we're already insane.

Final Preparations

In the rounds before unleashing true Armageddon, our copies each give us +5 CL for the turn. We cast Maximized (via Rod) Threefold Sight to force all our attacks to be Nat 20s (objects are immune to crits, but creatures take double damage), and Glimpse of The Akashic. The following turn, we have each our Solars ready an action to open a Gate on the edge of one of our demiplanes into somewhere else in the multiverse - we need to be able to actually target the rest of reality after all. Our copies activate their Runes of Rule, granting us +7 CL each.
Range won't be a problem. With Reach Spell + Enlarge Spell, our range is 80 ft x CL. The diameter of the universe in lightyears is 11 digits long. Our reach in lightyears is 1278 digits long. We'll have NO problem reaching the entirety of the Great Beyond. With rounds being 6 seconds long, this has the fun side effect of our attack being much faster than the speed of light, making it impossible to spot before it hits.
One issue are any planes and places with the Dead Magic planar trait. Luckily, Dead Magic planes work as an Antimagic Field, which means as long as we're a Deity or an Artifact, we're unaffected by it. We're both. This is why we made a full-power Trompe L'Oeil of Nocticula to possess instead of a half-power Simulacrum. Nocticula is simultaneously a Deity and a Monster. There are 3 types of Deities in Pathfinder: Quasideities, Demigods (like Nocticula), and True Deities. An argument could be made which of these Antimagic Field doesn't affect, but luckily, Wrath of the Righteous helps us there, as it not working on a spell cast by a Demigod was a minor plot point. Additionally, Detect Magic defines an Artifact as a Magic Item with CL 21+. Our Nocticula is one of those in addition to being a Deity and Monster, with a CL of 36. Our Baba Yaga simulacrums can craft Artifacts, so no problem there. And all this is assuming a CL higher than the number of atoms in the universe isn't enough to just punch through an Antimagic Field by itself.
Creatures with Regeneration might not die even if they take an explosion more powerful than the Big Bang to the face and disintegrate entirely. However, Regeneration doesn't heal damage from starvation, thirst, or suffocation. That being the case, they will never reach positive hit points even after the 1000 digit long number of years to heal all the damage they took from our blast. Plus, anything hit by Battering Blast gets Bull Rushed, which with our absurd CL means they simply get flung so far outside the boundaries of reality that they're never coming back.
The final problem are creatures that are either: Immune to Magic, or Immune to Force and Fire while also being Evil. These will not take any direct damage from our spells. However, the planet they are on exploding will likely suffice to annihilate them.

All Must be Destroyed

All preparations are complete. It is time to enact the will of our master Rovagug on this pathetic world, and annihilate all of existence!
On our turn, all the gates to the rest of the multiverse open. We use a free action to unleash our true power via Glimpse of The Akashic, then another free action activating our Rune of Razing to ignore the hardness of all the planets and stars we're about to destroy. We cast Enlarge Reach(x2) Empowered Battering Blast, adding Maximize via a Rod and Quicken via Spell Perfection. Then, just in case something survived each of its atoms getting hit with enough force to vaporize multiple universes and getting a galaxy to the face, we cast Enlarge Reach(x2) Empowered Elemental(Fire) Battering Blast, again adding Maximize via Rod, to burn away any feeble resistance remaining.
Total damage to the Multiverse: (380 + 1.5 x 6.7391 x 10¹²⁹⁶) x 1.8869 x 10¹²⁹⁶ Force damage from the first volley + (380 + 1.5 x 6.7391 x 10¹²⁹⁶) x 1.8869 x 10¹²⁹⁶ Hellfire damage from the second volley = 1.9074 x 10²⁵⁹³ damage.
Let's write that without the shortened notation. I modified the script from above to give us the exact number.

The Cycle Continues

We've just vaporized everything in all the known planes, then covered all of reality in fire for a moment to ensure nothing but ash remains. Thanks to prophecy breaking over 100 years ago, even the gods did not see this coming. The will of Rovagug, the Great Destroyer, has been done, yet not even he could withstand the destruction of reality. All worlds have been annihilated, from the Material Plane to the furthest reaches of the Abyss, the outermost shell of the Great Beyond, even scorching the parts of the Elder Mythos which reside outside this reality on the far side of the Abyss.
However.
Something yet remains.
And it is us.
We are still Omniscient, and we see what must be done.
As Pharasma survived the previous iteration's end, so are we the Survivor of this reality.
Our Simulacra grant us power one last time.
As we pull out a diamond, we utter the words that bring about the next iteration of reality, and cast Limited Wish to duplicate the 5th level Summoner spell, Lesser Create Demiplane. It takes effect, creating a new reality, far larger than the previous iteration.
Now, it is time to tend to this new reality. How will it unfold? What happened to The Watcher, Yog-Sothoth? Is he still around to act as the second anchor of creation, as he has for countless iterations?
Only time will tell.

Appendix: Tricks not used

There are many options, some of which were deemed unsuitable for one reason or another. Here, I list a few of the more noteworthy options that didn't make the cut.

Possess Cthulhu (Monster, Deity) instead of Nocticula: This would work just as well, or even better, since a larger center of the sphere means slightly more volume for the clones to fill (altered script here). The Fear Aura is a problem however. We could get around it by using Wish Spam to cast Greater Heroism on all our clones, but see Efreeti below.
Army Across Time: We could have Time Copies of ourselves use Coven to boost our CL instead of Simulacra. Since we can Scar ourselves, and our Time Copies are ourselves so they can use Coven at a range of 1 mile thanks to that, this would avoid becoming a massive ball of scars and needing to abuse a Peasant Railgun style tactic. The downsides are that AAT needs Line of Sight to each of the squares, while our Simulacra using Coven don't, and our Time Copies are Medium instead of Fine, so we only fit 1 instead of 1000 in each 5ft square and our CL is 3 digits lower. They do have a copy of our Ring of Tactical Precision, so they'd each give +6 CL.
More Fire Damage: Esufey are an official but fairly obscure race made of pure magic, with an ability giving +1 damage per dice for our fire spells. A combination of Raging Blood to gain Rage, Flumefire Rage, and Furious Spell would add another +2 damage per dice, which Spell Perfection doubles. In the end, the damage boost from Glimpse of The Akashic is so over the top that I didn't bother, and instead used the feat slots for Enlarge + Reach + not retraining out of Demonic Obedience.
More Charisma: Our number of damage dice goes up with Charisma, so having more is great. A Pitborn Tiefling with the Abyssal Bloodline gets an effective +4 Charisma. 1 level of Mindchemist Alchemist gives us another +4. 10 levels of Evangelist unlocks Spiritual Form, for another +4 Charisma while progressing Sorcerer by 9 levels. Again, Glimpse of The Akashic is just better. Without it, we wouldn't need those extra Sorc levels or the Samsaran race.
Simulacra of Efreeti: I specifically avoided using these, or wish spam in general where not nesecary, as I already did that with the Painter Wizard. (By the way, you can make a Painter at level 1. Be a Promethean Alchemist for Craft Construct at level 1. Feats: Additional Traits + Skill Focus Sense Motive. Traits: Traveler of a Hundred Lands so you can take multiple Regional Traits, Rich Parents + Chosen Child for 1800 gp starting wealth, Thoughtful Wishmaker so Wishes don't screw you over. Buy Spellcasting Services for Planar Binding (650 gp), Magic Circle against Evil (150 gp), and Dimensional Anchor (210 gp) to bind an Efreeti, and start your Wish looping. Or buy a Scroll of Planar Binding for 1625 gp and get the Magic Circle as a Spellcasting Service. Offer the Efreeti a deal, 2 of its wishes will be used for it, and you use your 1 to duplicate Fabricate (10k gp material component ignored by Wish) to get an item worth 30k gp, sell it, use the 15k gp starting funds to get painting. Or if you want to stay a Wizard, just take Craft Poppet + Craft Construct at level 5 to free up a feat slot.)
Multiple Gates per Square: There is no thickness specified for Gates, so theoretically we could get any number of them next to each other in a single square. This would make the actual calculations impossible, so it was not used.
Awaken Construct Loop: For this, we'd choose Android as our race to be a Construct. By using Flesh to Stone on ourselves, we become a mindless statue. This fulfills the requirements of Awaken Construct. We can do this as many times as we want, increasing our Charisma by 2d6 each time, with no limit, giving us infinite d6 of damage on our Battering Blast spheres. This could, theoretically, increase the damage beyond even Glimpse of The Akashic levels - however, by the time you got done with this, the heat death of the universe would have already happened.
Readied Reposition Loop: We already did something like this for getting all the Scar hexes on ourselves, however, there is nothing saying we need to actually remain within 1 mile of our clones to keep the Coven Aid Another bonus. As with the previous two, this would go infinite and therefore be impossible to calculate, in this case via infinite Caster Level. Remaining within the boundary of Technically Finite is far more interesting.
