My thoughts on how the SP to MP unlimited casino chips trade-in glitch worked in GTA Online
Some of the steps in the glitch may not even be required, but nobody wanted to try skipping them in fear of having to do them all over again. Either way, here are the steps that needed to be followed in order to do this glitch, and below them are my thoughts on why they work.
Create a testable capture job
Set spawn location to motorcycle clubhouse
Join crew with nobody else in it
Replay "Fresh Meat"
Quickly run to bed to make game save
Reload your game save
Wait for the black screen to pop up
Close the black screen by holding down on the d-pad and analog stick then declining the new screen that pops up.
Wait for Simeon to call you but do not answer or hang up.
Call the number to go to directors mode and accept the prompt.
Leave the director's trailer as Franklin then kill yourself.
Exit back to story mode
You should respawn back in Michael's house as Franklin, but it is alright if you don't.
Make a quicksave
Go to the creator mode
Start up your capture job
Select the "choose character" option in the menu
Quickly disconnect your internet connection after accepting the alert.
Accept the next alert that pops up
Answer the call from Simeon
Go to director's mode while in the call with Simeon
Change the time of day and change Franklin's look then exit the trailer
Fast travel to the theater
Enter the theater to watch a movie
Reconnect your internet connection
Go back to casting trailer
Wait for the loading symbol in the bottom right of the screen while loading into the casting trailer then immediately go to a recent activity in GTA (through the PlayStation recent activities feed)
Click play on the recent activity then decline the alert that pops up in GTA
Do the same thing as before, but accept the alert this time
Immediately disconnect your internet connection
Reconnect your internet connection
Go to creator mode
Disconnect your internet connection
Accept the alert in the game
Click "Exit to GTA Online"
As soon as you get the black screen you will need to reconnect your internet connection
Do not go back into the game, but rejoin a recent activity
Go back into the game and click square to retry loading into GTA Online
Wait through the extra long loading screen
Decline the alert when you spawn in
Start "A Titan of a Job"
As soon as it fully loads you into the job, try loading into an offline character and decline the alert.
Click "Join crew members" and accept all of the alerts (remember that you must be in a crew alone or in a crew where nobody is online)
Walk to the dartboard in your motorcycle club house
Click "Join crew members" then spam right on the d-pad and x to accept the alert.
Redo what you just did when you load into the session
As soon as it says loading at the bottom right corner, disconnect your internet and reconnect it.
Stay on the internet screen for 40 seconds.
Go back to the game
Accept the alert
Try to load in as Franklin and decline the alert
Try to load in as Michael and decline the alert
Go to the casino and start trading in your chips
Step 4: I can't explain why completing "Fresh Meat" creates a glitched game other than the fact that something is just wrong with the code. I don't like to explain things this way because pretty much every glitch or bug can be described this way, but that's all I've got. Step 5: The reason you want to run to the bed as quickly as you can is because you want the glitched game to save. I assume you need to do this quickly because the code eventually rights itself and fixes the glitched save. Step 6: If you do not reload the game save then you will not be able to continue with the rest of this glitch. This is because reloading the save is what gets the game to think that you are Franklin. After reloading the save you will respawn as Franklin in Michael's house. This is because you mainly played as Franklin during the "Fresh Meat" mission. The glitched save you made tries to recognize this and respawns you as Franklin, but loads you into Michael's house because you made the game save with Michael. Step 7: The screen will turn black because the glitched save you made for some reason triggers the GTA V logo screen to pop up. This is another one that I'm not sure if I can explain better. Step 8: To leave this black screen then you will need to hold down on the directional pad and on the analog stick. The screen that pops up removes the previous screen, so now all you need to do is cancel your request to go to GTA Online (which is what down on the d-pad and analog stick does). Step 9: Now you have to wait for simeon to call you and do not hang up or answer the call. I have no idea why this is a necessary step, but it could be something that trips up the code when it detects that you haven't answered a call. Step 10-12: I think that this is just another way to trick the game into verifying that you are Franklin. By dying, it forces the game to reload but the director's mode keeps the game from fixing itself. Step 13: The game is still glitched into thinking that you are both Michael and Franklin, so you are spawned back into Michaels house. Step 14: This save is just so you do not have to redo all of the other steps. It is not a required step. Step 15-19: This step is to get you partially online while still remaining in the offline mode. It makes that last step of SP to MP possible by allowing you to retry loading into online. Step 20: I'm not sure why you have to answer the call, but maybe it's to keep Franklin performing an action while moving over to director's mode. Step 21: You need to enter director's mode to enable the fast travel feature. Step 22: I think changing the time of day makes it to where a specific movie is playing when you enter the theater and changing Franklin's clothing makes the game save him differently - removing his code from Michaels. Step 23-31: You need to be in the movie theater because it creates a long enough buffer between steps 27 and 28 to be able to actually perform them. Going back to the casting trailer any other time generally goes by faster or doesn't provide the loading circle at the bottom of the screen. Step 32-38: Going to creator mode will allow you to go into GTA online. You need to disconnect your internet when joining so that it will partially kick you out, but reconnect it so it brings you back in. Joining a recent activity is what tricks the game into allowing you completely in GTA online though, and what allows you to retry searching for a session when it says you can't join one. Step 41: My guess is that "A Titan of a Job" is the only mission that glitches out enough to work with this or because it puts you in the correct spot on the map. Step 42: Since the game is already pretty glitched out by now, and because the previous steps enabled SP to MP, declining the alerts to switch characters no longer work. It does, however, keep you from being brought back to offline mode. Step 43: Doing this temporarily brings you out of the offline mode and back into it. It helps solidify the SP to MP glitch by allowing you to safely reload your game into another session without breaking the glitch. Step 44-50: The dartboard allows you to be doing in action in the game while actively trying to leave it. For whatever reason this bugs the game out and keeps you able to continue the glitch. Step 50-52: No idea why these are required steps Step 53: Since the casino was not coded for offline characters, the tokens stay frozen for them. You can't get any more and you can't lose any more, but you can keep getting money from the ones you have. I'm probably drastically wrong on some of these steps, but these are my thoughts on how this glitch works. Generally I'll probably stick to less complicated glitches, but this is the first one that came to mind. Longer glitches are also more complicated to understand, so it's interesting to try and see how and why they work.

Edit: Video to help explain: https://youtu.be/b51ixKZeJUA Using the outfit force save* you can use the diamond slots machine to slowly work up money, when you hit your first big jack pot use the force save and continue to hit the machine at full bet - likewise if you run out of chips, do the glitch :: it has made me 4mil in about 20 mins (I continued for another hour but didn’t have much luck) I also started tallying my results for the odds and how often you should expect a decent payout**.
To do this, you want to get a decent amount of chips - about 25-100k does the job and enter the casino, when you get to the slot, change your outfit and this will trigger a save (shown in the bottom right of the screen with an orange circle); wait for this to go and then sit down at the slot. Hit until you lose everything then disconnect your internet (easy to do on PS4, by going to [settings]>[Network]>[connect to internet] turn it off, wait a second then turn it back on) when you load up GTA again, you will be taken to story - from there load into gta online and you will have all the chips you had when you did the outfit change.. Also whenever you win big or have more chips than what you started with, re-do the force save as a kind of checkpoint. {Also set spawn to last location or a penthouse at the casino}
** 2 big wins (3 of a kinds) 66 small wins (getting one or two diamonds) 320 losses (no match or single diamonds) and 0 jackpots (3 triple diamonds) - however I did get a jackpot approx 400-800 spins before I started the tally Therefore (approximately): you get a decent win every 160 spins. Thank you if you read all that lol - I did kinda go on and I hope you go make millions! Edit: once you have about 700k, it may be useful to use this on the horse races by betting on an unlikely horse until you win or lose everything.
[PSA] Horse gambling still gives races with >100% player return value, making it profitable earlygame with zero effort.
I'm not sure if this is a "glitch" per se as the code is working "correctly", but it's probably a lot more lucrative than intended--and now is as good a time as ever to remind everyone of this decent money-making method which requires virtually no Rank or assets except a few dozen grand in starting cash.
Convert about $20,000~$60,000 to casino chips. Keep in mind you can only do 20k per ingame day.
Play Inside Track, paying attention to the odds on the two best horses which should be between 1/1 (Evens) and 5/1.
If those two horses have 2/1 and 3/1 odds or higher, max bet on the lower of the two. This is a profitable game, and while you may still lose some games, statistically you will gain chips this way.
If the two best horses do NOT have 2/1 & 3/1 or higher, bet the minimum on whoever and run the game just to refresh the board.
Watch your chips slowly but surely rise over time, assuming you are not astronomically unlucky.
Note: If the other horses have high enough odds, there are cases where games with horses under 2/1 and 3/1 (but not Evens & Evens) are still profitable to bet on, but the math on that is a bit trickier, and using a calculator costs time; this is why I usually stick to 2/1 & 3/1 or better. Also while technically you average the same profit betting on any horse, higher-odds horses make luck a bigger factor, which you probably don't want. For best results, map Tab to a mouse button to max bet quicker (PC), and do this muted in the background while you watch YouTube or something because it's...also incredibly boring. Profit per hour fluctuates according to RNG of course, but seems to average better than 2x VIP rotations assuming you don't have a Buzzard or Oppressor MK2 yet to efficiently grind with. EDIT: I'm surprised this wasn't more popular, it's been around for awhile even if it kinda becomes obsolete once better money making methods become available (and it's so...boring...). If anyone's interested in the math and theory for why this works to better understand it, I found the original post explaining it. Hello everyone, happy new year! With recent release of Cayo Perico but not much else I wanted to touch base with the community holding out for GTA Online in Liberty City or Vice City, and debrief from the Cayo Perico DLC. Even though Cayo Perico came out unexpectedly (to us), it is a small but welcome addition to the GTA Online world. I believe that we still have reason to cling onto hope that that Liberty City will sooner rather than later, and Cayo Perico is a stepping stone to that demonstrating the map expansions are possible. While I no longer think that we will see a remastered city come this generation of console, but we still have GTA V "Expanded and Enhanced" coming in 2021 which may have much more than just GTA V itself.
Reasons why I think that GTA V "Expanded and Enhanced" is more than just GTA V with updated graphics
GTA V XB1 & PS4 versions already work fine in XBSX/XBSS/PS5. It looks and runs great, similar to a PC level of detail/performance. Why would a significant update be needed if it will be much the same if they didn't have big plans on top of that?
Cayo Perico proves that Rockstar's idea of "Expanded" can mean land expansion
Cayo Perico sounds like it was more a like a side project during COVID-19 WFH than something in the works for a long time. It is not unreasonable to think that Rockstar, with all their global studios now merged together, haven't been working on something big since the bulk of RDR2 was finished.
Why are they being so vague about the details, even to go as far as using a PS3 trailer for it... are they doing this because they are hiding something? Even being so far to be anticlimactic to take off the pressure from fans, and surprise us later.
What Cyberpunk 2077 has taught the overall gaming community lately is what happens when you overpromise and underdeliver. However Rockstar already learnt this lesson back in 2015 when they promised Heists in GTA Online, which kept being reworked and delayed until near the end of the PS3/360 generation and copped a lot of criticism for it. Basically every social media comment was "Where are the Heists", fans were frustrated. From that time onwards they never released details until about 2 weeks out from launch for a DLC. RDR2 was a bit longer, but only because they had other partners to consider. For this they originally gave it 1 year from announcement to release date, but it was delayed to 2 years, with PC one more year after that (which also wasn't even announced until one month before that). Here is a quote about what went wrong with Heists:
We aren’t ready to give an official release date yet, but we are confident they will be ready early in 2015. As you may have read on IGN, Heists were a much bigger challenge to create than we had originally anticipated. Early versions were simply not good enough and had to be scrapped more than once as we honed in on how we thought they should work. We’re happy to say that the pack we are now finalizing is something we are excited by and eager to release as soon as it is ready. We, as a company, have always been about trying to make something that is good rather than hitting a date. We apologize when this gets frustrating but firmly believe that rushing out second-rate content does not do anyone any favors. Hopefully you agree that yesterday’s new Trailer is a sign that Heists are shaping up nicely, but we still need some time to fine tune them. Because we need a little time to get Heists right, we are going to give you a small Christmas gift to keep you entertained until we are done with them.
Reasons why I think something related to Liberty City is most likely to be the next major GTA Online expansion to come
GTA IV & EFLC is highly regarded as a masterpiece, it's fanbase is still strong - many still prefer it to GTA V for a variety reasons, so it is a good candidate for a remaster. They can always make the GTA IV car physics, ragdoll, etc. come back again, perhaps as a user configurable option. Having the map there is the gateway to bringing these highly valued games back to a new generation.
The availability of GTA IV is terrible. It is only a Backwards Compatibility title on Xbox One (non Enhanced), runs like rubbish on PC - performance wise (and multiplayer is now removed), and the PS4 & PS5 doesn't have it at all. Most other GTAs are available for purchase, at least on Mobile.
GTA V is now 7 years old and the GTA fanbase is now bigger than ever thanks to GTA V & Online. A lot of new fans haven't had the opportunity to experience GTA IV because of the above availability issue. The new fans are desperate for a new (to them) GTA game, especially since it doesn't look like GTA6 is coming any time soon. Or maybe I'm wrong and 6 is coming soon as well?
GTA Online is progressively getting new content referencing to Liberty City or content ported from Liberty City (i.e The Tugboat, QUB3D), so they are not above re-using GTA IV assets or dropping hints.
It is clear that they have been taking the "lazy" route as far as making new content for GTA Online DLCs by re-using existing assets. Don't get me wrong there is still a lot of work involved, but still it is less work than starting from scratch.
But it would make sense that they will continue their more recent M.O. to re-use existing assets rather than start from scratch to save time, effort and cost.
Porting the Liberty City map to GTA V engine can't be that difficult, given that even PC Modders have already been able to do it unofficially (FiveM/OpenIV), so just imagine what Rockstar can do when doing it properly.
There were only about 10 multiplayer modes in GTA IV Multiplayer, it wouldn't be hard to bring those back to GTA Online game modes to recreate that missing experience.
With high profile departures of the writers such as Leslie Benzies, Dan Houser & Lazlow there is no doubt going to be a brain drain. I'm sure they were working on stuff before their departures, and I'm sure that RockstaTake-Two with all their billions of dollars will be able to find other top talent to bring GTA into a new era, but this will take time, and they can get things out in the meantime. The story of GTA IV, Map & other assets are already made, so this gives them a head start to put out games while they rediscover their Mojo to make GTA6 using new talent.
GTA Online is a Big Money Maker, it will make the GTA IV & ELFC remaster worth it because the remastered map will be used for both GTA IV & Online: LC (maybe slight map differences according to time period).
Why did they put so much effort into issuing cease and desists to OpenIV team for OpenIV's LCinV project (even though it used original game files, no piracy) if they weren't planning on doing something in this space themselves.
Cayo Perico aside (which is still quite small), Los Santos as the primary setting of GTA Online is still a bit stale after 7 years. They can't use 2013 Los Santos forever, surely. Not to mention that a new GTA release is already well overdue.
GTA IV Music Licensing speculation/hints
A little while back, a lot of music track licenses expired and they were pulled from the PC version, most notably Vladivostok FM was most affected with most songs removed. They put in some new tracks to replace it, which wasn't quite as good but it seemed like that was as good as it's going to get. But then they went ahead and relicensed the original tracks anyway so all the music is now restored again (about 16 months after being originally cut). Why go though all that expense of relicensing all that music if they aren't planning to capitalise on it in a big way?
Cayo Perico speculation/hints
Not much here directly, but I have played with it a little bit. The way that it's programmed is interesting. As far as I can tell, travel to the island is sharing a session with Free Mode rather than being a different game mode, which you can tell by seeing the player list stay the same as whoever is in the Freemode session you were in. There is no loading of a different game mode, it is just a cut scene. On PC you can even chat to people who are still in Los Santos. When you look at the map, you are located South-East of LS (just past USS Luxington), and if you move the mouse you can get locations of LS show up, it's just the map itself which is hidden. There is a glitch you can do to "free roam" the whole Island, or just go to the Beach Party standalone, it is clear that you are in Free Mode of an existing Los Santos based lobby. When I was glitched, I was able to take a Dinghy back to LS, LS was visible. about halfway there, the whole Cayo Perico just de-spawned similar to how the USS Luxington does, and also the weathenight cycle changed instantly too. When I was glitched but still on the Island, a whole bunch of functions were disabled like spawning cars, calling contacts, etc. What this shows me is that perhaps they are experimenting with how integration with Future GTA Maps will look like. Instead of loading a whole different game, or loading a different game mode, it could be one big Free Mode made up of all locations, the locations can not be directly accessed without triggering a cut scene, and the properties of how a Free Mode works can change depending on what location on the broader map you are in. One challenge I anticipate is that they wouldn't want GTA$ earned in LS to be transferred to a totally new GTA Online area. It is well known that a lot of it glitched and they'd want us to start getting rich again. They have also been experimented with holding separate currencies such as Arena Points or Casino Chips. I could imagine that they come up with a storyline where all your GTA$ Cash gets deposited into Maze Bank but then can't be withdrawn to cash or moved to another bank, and in LC you are forced to use a competing bank like the Bank of Liberty. Basically LS = only get Maze Bank, LC = only get Bank of Liberty. Cars/Planes etc. Can be not widely transferable (i.e. You MKII or Babushka holding a car has engine failure mid flight and crashes, or maybe you need to go to the Airport marker on food), and maybe some planes (i.e. Luxor) can enter on a visiting basis via. Cutscene of that vehicle but can't be saved at the destination into a personal hangar.

[PSA] Rockstar ban wave, money wipes, and character resets are in effect.
As many of you already know, Rockstar has officially rolled out a ban wave and money wipe of users who have used the casino chip glitch as well as the frozen money glitch. And in some cases people's characters are getting completely reset (back to 0 in money, stats, RP, etc). From what I have gathered from users in this subreddit, it seems Rockstar is doing this to accounts that basically got super greedy and glitched into the hundreds of millions and even billions of dollars. We do not know the specifics, so please do not ask us for them. I just know that a fair portion of users who truly "abused" these glitches are either getting banned, money wiped, and/or having their characters reset. We advise all users to stop using these glitches for the time being. However, if you choose to use them then be aware that you could lose everything. Also, please remember that this subreddit is not a Rockstar technical support subreddit. We have no idea if or when your account, character, and/or money will be restored (if you have experienced any of these things). Go to Diamond Casino
Walk up to the cashier and exchange for chips if you don't have any
Go to Inside Track Horse Racing
Click on Place Bet (Single Event)
Check horse odds
Disable internet connection
Bet any amount on any horse and it will say unable to establish connection to rockstar servers
Enable internet connection and bet max on your horse
Repeat until you have enough money

Use any method to disable/enable your internet connection whether it is pulling the plug or using a 3rd party program it is up to you. Just repeat step 5/6/7 until you get your desired odds. Make sure to reenable your internet connection before betting when your horse is favorable. Note: You need to disable your internet when you are about to refresh the race (horse list). Reenable your internet when you have the horse you want to bet on. DO NOT have your internet disconnected for too long or it will kick you from the game. It shouldn't take too long to cycle through the line ups. Just do it quick and use a macro or a script. For example if you see double evens (which is considered the worst lineup) bet any amount on any horse (provided that you have already disabled your internet). Cycle through the list until you find a good lineup and before placing a bet, reenable your internet. Yes you can copy car but you can't save it on PC. It will disappear when you change server or restart your game. (Number plate change / garage change will not help, I TRIED)
To copy cars with the casino cashing out you need a help of friend. Suppose you need some cash urgently and your friend is not online, this is the savings for those times

You only need $50,000 to register as a VIP! If you have at least that much, you can register as a VIP for 4 hours and get access to VIP missions (which can be done in an invite only session), giving you a lucrative way to save up.
If you own both a crate warehouse and vehicle warehouse, you could use them together to make more money overtime than you could by using either exclusively. Use your sourcing/exports between crate pickups and sales, and you'll be getting the best of both worlds, gaining from the postive money-making aspects of both.

Gambling
As this is a Casino-centric update, there's plenty of ways to gamble away your hard-grinded money. The gambling in this game centers around a new form of currency, called Chips. These chips are pretty much like real-world gambling chips, with a one-to-one dollar value, except you keep your chips when you leave the casino. Chips are an actual currency in GTA Online, as they can be used to purchase exclusive items from a shop inside the casino, along with being used to bet with when playing the Gambling Games, listed below
Slot Machines: There's plenty of options to choose from, but they all perform the same way. Spend some chips, and let the RNG decide whether or not you earn anything from it.
Blackjack: Casino style blackjack with up to four simultaneous players, all of which play against the dealer. Anyone who beats the dealer individually wins, anyone who the dealer beats individually loses, and if the dealer gets Blackjack (an Ace and 10/face-card), everyone immediately loses. Assuming your initial hand isn't a Blackjack, you have the option of doubling-down, which doubles your initial bet with the caveat of only being able to hit once.
Poker: Three-card poker. You make your bets, check your hand, and similar to Blackjack, each player wins if their hand is better than the dealer's, and the dealer beats whoever has a worse hand than him. While there is no option to double-down, how much you win does depend on how good of a hand you have. The better your hand, the more you win. Also, while you can fold your hand, you lose your initial bet anyway.
Horse Racing: Pretty much standard horse racing bettering. You choose a horse, you put your money down, and if you bet correctly, you get double the amount you bet in return. Otherwise, you just lose the amount you bet.
To gain more chips, there is a counter inside the casino where you can buy them, however you are limited in how many you can buy per day (real-world 24 hours). As standard, you can buy a maximum of 20,000 chips per day, but if you own a penthouse of any tier, you can buy up to 50,000 chips per day. Chips can also be traded in for money, but there does not appear to be a limit on this. No matter how many chips you win from gambling, it appears that you can trade them all in at once for the equivalent dollar value. Lastly, there is the Wheel. It's a roulette wheel that you can only spin once per day, which costs $500 per spin. There are twenty reward slots, and since some rewards are in multiple slots, they have greater chances of being selected. The biggest note about this wheel however is that there is one slot in which you can win a free car! What makes this so significant is that since the car takes a 1/20 slot on the wheel, that means you still have a 5% chance of winning a free high-value vehicle! Compared to most online games, that's pretty much the most generous RNG you can get.

Are there any differences between the penthouses For once, yes! Well, technically... they're the same basic property layout, but each option gives you different addon options.
The Cash Pad: The basic Penthouse with no property addons available . You cannot purchase a garage, extra bedroom, lounge, etc. with the Cash Pad. You can, however, purchase penthouse customizations (colour and wall patterns).
The Party Penthouse: Gives you certain of the addon options: the main Penthouse, the Extra Bedroom, the Lounge Area, the Spa, and the Bar and Party Hub. You are locked to these options, no more, no less.
The High Roller: Gives you all of the property addons as standard, and the most expensive penthouse customization options... this means that you cannot choose your own colour and wall patterns with this version.
The "Design Your Own": ...What should be the standard option. It gives you the basic penthouse and allows you to choose which addons and customizations you want, with an extra cost for each one, of course. Just get this one. You can also renovate this option later, allowing you to purchase more addons and change your customizations later.
What do the Penthouse Addons do?
Lounge Area: Allows you to purchase the other Penthouse Addons (except for the Extra Bedroom and Garage, which are the only items addons that can be purchased without a Lounge).
Media Room: You know the cinemas around Los Santos? The ones that play a few 5 minute animated films on repeat? That, but in a Penthouse.
Spa: Gives you access to a hot tub and a Personal Stylist. The Stylist's services are the same as the ones spread around Los Santos (hair, contacts, and make up), but they're all free.
Bar and Party Hub: Allows you to consume drinks that instantly intoxicate your character, along with access to special arcade games that aren't available anywhere else in the game.
Private Dealer: Allows you to play gambling games in your penthouse.
Office: Adds a standard computer, a Gun Locker, and a money vault (don't get excited, it's just aesthetic).
Extra Bedroom: Bedrooms in owned properties in GTA Online are used as spawn points, so why can you pay to have an extra one? Because you can now allow a friend of yours to claim it! The Extra Bedroom allows a friend of yours to use your penthouse as a spawn apparently, though the exact implementation of this is not completely clear.
Garage: Access to the Penthouse's garage bay.
How do I get the armored car?
To recieve the Enus Paragon R (Armoured), you have to complete the Diamond Casino's mission series, which you must own a penthouse to access. Once of the missions are complete, you'll be given the vehicle for free! But remember, it's uninsured and you only get it once, so immediately go into passive mode and take it to the nearest Los Santos Customs to insure it, or else you could lose the vehicle permanently.
Passive Mode
Good news, passive mode has been fixed!
Passive Mode can now no longer be active when using a weaponized vehicle
A Passive Mode cooldown of 2 minutes is now in place for players who have just killed another player
Players now must wait 5 minutes before they can activate Passive Mode again after disabling it
Players now must wait 30 seconds before they can disable Passive Mode after activating it
These changes make is so that grievers can no longer abuse passive mode, or at least no where near as easily. If you start to get the upper-hand on a griefer and destroy whatever death-machine they're using to troll you, or if you confront them in a death-machine of your own, they can't abuse Passive Mode to try to get the upper-hand on you!
Solo Session
Check the Mega Guide for ways to push yourself into a public Online session with no one else in it. Keep in mind that some missions and abilities are unavailable if there's no one else with you though!
Bugs and Glitches
Apparently on PS4 and Xbox One, you must have full size of GTA V available to download the update, so if you have less than ~60GB free, you may have trouble downloading the update. This does not mean that the entire game is re-downloaded, it just means that the update may not download if you don't have that much space available.

You should spawn back as your normal Multiplayer character. Hold down on the D-pad and select the Singleplayer character that you managed to glitch into Multiplayer. For ObeseGiraffe it was Franklin so he selected Franklin. Step 5: You will get a notification when you switch back to your Singleplayer character saying "Do you want to quit the session" and make sure you decline it by pressing CIRCLE or B. Now when you load back up you should see the Diamond Casino Step 6: Now go over inside the Casino and go to the chip trader and trade in one chip to make sure your chips are frozen. So when you trade in the 1 chip your chips should not move but your money will increase by 1. If it does restart the glitch again Step 7: Now select all of your chips and start spamming the button to trade them in. If you had $1,000,000 chips then you would be getting $1,000,000 in cash every time you press "Trade-In Chips" Step 8: WHEN YOU ARE DONE, buy a free Elegy RH8 or any cheap car and wait for the orange save circle in the bottom right of your screen. Once you see the orange circle go away just restart the application to confirm the money is still there. Obese Giraffe said that you can get up to $30,000,000 per second if you do it with $10,000,000 chips. How GTA Online turned from a great game to a complete money syphoning clusterf*ck
Don't get me wrong, I still love to play GTA Online to this day but it disapoints me what it turned to and how it changed alot since 2013 into much worse. Let's talk about online connectivity which is main problem. It takes literally 15 minutes just to get kicked back to SP due Rockstar's crappy P2P online which in-hand is one reason why whole lobby becomes buggy and glitchy when somebody joins with terrible connection. Rockstar hasn't also bothered to improve that and their cloud servers that fail every evening. Just to top it off with infinite loading screens that occur very often causing players to totally reboot their game and waste of more of their time just for game to be stuck at loading screen again. Futurization has improved the game and extended its lifespan but gave griefers and tryhards new toys to fuck with low levels, afk players basically everyone on lobby. Some of futuristic vehicles were great and helped people defend themselves and grind faster and better but some completely ruined freemode such as Oppressor MK2 (not a bad vehicle at all, actually one of best grinding vehicles, the only problem are people who abuse it to kill everybody in lobby). Orbital cannon has indeed really ruined freemode and grinding forever. Just imagine this, you're selling 111 crates of special cargo in public session probably to avoid super accurate NPC I'm gonna talk about later, and all that hard work just to be blown up by some kid ducking in his facility spending money he got from his mommy's credit card. There's no occasion and awareness to know when you're gonna get orbed unless you're checking for people who are in facilities. People might say that 750k to kill somebody is balanced, uhmmm not. People can just leave immediatly after they orb someone and rejoin back with their money still there and no cooldown at all. And problem is, it cannot be patched cause it's cloud server exploit. Great job Rockstar !!! Glitches are also one big problem GTA has been struggling. I don't have anything against people who glitch their money but people who glitch to be un-killable or to destroy somebody's cargo immediatly are worst. There are glitches that let you go godmode and ones that let you teleport which have not been patched for years. There are also glitches that completely ruin your game such as Titan glitch and are also left alone for years. Rockstar clearly ignores these glitches and patches ones that are harmless and money making just to save Shark Card sales. It's incredible to see game company having their mouth full open for money. They became too greedy even more than EA and Activision combined together. Talking about patching glitches, Rockstar has double standards when it comes to releasing hotfixes. Remember duffel sale bag mission ?? It had one very rare bug that was able to be fixed easy but what Rockstar did ??? They completely removed the mission leaving us stuck with terrible missions such as Post Op van one. They bugged Bombushka cargo door after seeing players use it for grinding and patched the Avenger crate glitch only because players made boring and repetitive 3 crate mission faster !!! They also made hotfix to Casino Heist adding rock in middle of nowhere. They blocked vault door and added additional guards on race track after noticing people finishing casino heist fast. They have also patched gender change glitch which was just changing character gender for 100k !!! They have done alot more but I'm not gonna mention anymore harmless things patched. When it comes to cargo-griefing, that's what annoys me. Rockstar is completely PROMOTING cargo griefing to players just so they can increase their shark card sales. When you try to defend yourself, you lose 10k and get badsport, but griefer gets only 2k after destroying 1 mil goods. Rockstar actually supports that acting unaware about many players complaining about cargo griefing. This is not how you gain playerbase Rockstar, this is just how you lose them in matter of a seconds. Anti-cheat system is almost to non-existent. People can easily bypass the anti-cheat system and bomb lobbies by using mod menus. Those also get away with bans when innocent players get their characters reset for no reason. How in the hell can you let modders have fun destroying the game while innocent players are just trying to play the way it's meant to be played ??? Talking about casino chips glitch bans, isn't Rockstar overreacting too much ?? Players exploit your game to get money due to boring, terrible and repetitive grinding. Instead of patching the glitch, you go out and ban everybody who just gets penny from it ?!?!? I'm never gonna understand. AI is another lazy-developed thing with this game. NPC's have ridicously good aim, rapid fire and sped up animations making every mission pain in the ass. Not only that, they'll even manage to headshot you blinding firing or from very far distance. What about traffic AI also ? It seems like that they're programmed to crash into you everytime you're doing I/E. Has Rockstar even tested their game before releasing not knowing about problems that will occur ?? Probably not... And last but not least, overpriced items. This has angered many players causing them to buy shark cards so you can get money. Why the hell supercar that's gonna be used once costs +2 mil. Why the hell bodysuits and even more irrelevant clothes cost +300k. Why do many vehicles that are already expensive need to have even more expensive paywalls ??? Well two words, shark cards. Arena update was pretty much worst serving as Rockstar's money laundering scheme due to terribly overpriced items and vehicles. Isn't 1.4 mil for RC car too much ?? Bonus thing we have is Casino resort. Rockstar just dropped the ball with it as they PROMOTED GAMBLING !!!! You can get in-game money with real money, then convert that money into chips you're gonna lose in matter of seconds cause whole Casino is rigged to boost up shark card sales. That is in-game gambling being almost the same as REAL gambling. No wonder Casino is blocked in half of the world countries. This is gonna be the end of my opinion. There are much more things to cover but this feels already more than enough needed. Read this and get it to yourself that Rockstar became what they parodied about in past.
GTA is an amazing game and easily the most earning of all time. But now it’s being ruined by rockstar themselves. There’s so many things wrong in the game that don’t make sense or just shouldn’t exist. In fact, it costs 60 dollars to buy a helicopter and a plane. Sixty dollars, that’s still hours of grinding in the game and in real life. Then the vehicles rockstar is adding, about half a year ago (i don’t know when) a flying hover bike was added to the game that has missiles that cannot miss. This little bike overpowers nearly anything in the game with its missiles. It can destroy a hydra or an insurgent in just a couple shots. It’s gotten to a point where cars are considered useless depending on the amount of rockets they can take. Think of the ruiner 2000, it used to be a fun vehicle to ride around and climb buildings until it could be destroyed In a single explosive. The Deluxo also exists, but it’s so expensive and slow it’s just a minor problem. But then, it’s on the casino wheel and you can get it for free with a glitch. But don’t worry rockstar will patch the glitch before it’s overly abused. End of the week comes, it’s not fixed, the next one. And ever since it hasn’t been fixed. The sad thing is that it’s been in the game for so much longer before that. You would thing glitches like the casino chip glitch would be patched. Now this one was heavily “guarded” you have a major chance of getting your account reset after doing this. But what stops them from doing it again and again until they don’t get banned. Drugs make your gun stronger, people blow themselves up before dying, there are so many people that fight for their KDr that they get scared when you drive next to them with an rc car and immediately kill themselves. R* has done some things to patch these. For example there is a cool down on killing yourself and going into passive mode after shooting people. But instead they just blow themselves up.
