[WTS] Auction Leftovers #6

Hello again, and good morning!
This listing is for items that did not sell during the January 17 Auction, so you can buy anything you want right here and right now - no buyer's premiums, no additional fees.
*FREE shipping for any order over $100.
*All items priced at $1 are now .75 each
Each lot was individually imaged (front and back) for the auction - so the easiest way for you to see exactly what you're buying is to visit the auction link (the auction is over, so I'm not advertising anything different or advertising an upcoming auction) - so here that is:
https://www.invaluable.com/catalog/2qx7j50tq0?size=50&page=1&categories=&sort=
Here is the required "prove you still have the stuff" photo with the username card and today's date:

Payment: PayPal only. I do not have Venmo/Zello/Bitcoin or any other form of digital payment at this time. No notes if using PPFF, please. (Thank you.) If you choose to use PPFF, please make sure to send me your shipping address here as it won't automatically load with your payment.
Shipping: I will charge you what it costs me for the USPS label rounded up to the nearest dollar. For First Class that is usually $4, for USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box it will be $9. I will get you a tracking number right after payment is received and will get your package scanned into the USPS system within 24 hours of receipt of payment. I will offer "Risky Shipping" (via stamped greeting card) at my discretion for $1 - for single, small coins ONLY. NOTE: These prices are for Continental US shipping only - if you live outside the continental US, shipping will be more expensive. I am still happy to do it under the same rules as above, but just keep in mind it's going to cost more.
What do YOU need to do to buy coins from this group: send me a list of which lots you want (for example, I want to buy lots # 51, 52, 53, 54, 55) and I will send you a total. There are too many coins here (plus there are duplicates) so I cannot look up the coins you want by description - just give me lot numbers and it will be much simpler.
I'd like to make a simple and polite request - if I have sent you my PayPal information (meaning we've agreed to a deal) please finish it up as soon as you can so I can check you off the list and move on to the next person. This helps make sure you get all the coins we discussed and no one else is in limbo.
I will do my absolute best to update the ad as soon as lots sell.

[WTS] Auction Leftovers #5

Hello again, and good morning!
This listing is for items that did not sell during the December 13 Auction, so you can buy anything you want right here and right now - no buyer's premiums, no additional fees.
*FREE shipping for any order over $100.
*All items priced at $1 are now .75 each
NOTE: Since we are fast approaching Christmas, if you want me to ship your order via Priority Mail - to hopefully get it there by Christmas - please let me know during your first PM and I will get your order shipped ASAP. My wife and I just got back from the post office to mail a few items and were told that at this point, even Priority Mail cannot be guaranteed to arrive by Christmas, but it you want to give it a shot I am happy to oblige.
Each lot was individually imaged (front and back) for the auction - so the easiest way for you to see exactly what you're buying is to visit the auction link (the auction is over, so I'm not advertising anything different or advertising an upcoming auction) - so here that is:
https://www.invaluable.com/catalog/8o2qykf0og
Here is the required "prove you still have the stuff" photo with the username card and today's date:
PHOTO

[WTS] Auction Leftovers #3

Good morning once again!
This listing is for items that did not sell during the October 11 Auction (most likely due to BP/fees, or maybe just because the "right" buyer didn't see the auction, who knows) - so you can buy anything you want right here and right now - no buyer's premiums, no additional fees - JUST DISCOUNTS ON EVERYTHING:
*FREE shipping for any order over $100.
*All the Graded/Slabbed Coins are available at 30% off the listed price guide (which should be accurate, was checked about a month ago.)
*Any Sterling Silver non-coin item will be available at MELT (plus shipping.)
*EVERYTHING ELSE is 10% off the listed start price.
Each lot was individually imaged (front and back) for the auction - so the easiest way for you to see exactly what you're buying is to visit the auction link (the auction is over, so I'm not advertising anything different or advertising an upcoming auction) - so here that is:

Here is the required "prove you still have the stuff" photo with the username card and today's date:

Payment: PayPal. I do not have Venmo/Zello/Bitcoin or any other form of digital payment at this time. No notes if using PPFF, please. Thank you.

Island Jackpots Casino Review

There are worse islands to be stuck on than Island Jackpots. This is an extremely pleasant looking island, as a glance at the site’s homepage reveals. The mascot for the site looks a little bit like a Lego man, one who's just washed up on a desert island. You can make out his capsized boat in the background but he doesn't look too disappointed, probably because of the huge stack of gold coins half buried in the sand. Jackpots are a big deal at this site as you would expect of an online casino with jackpots in its name.
There are record jackpots to be won and a jackpot tracker to supposedly give you an indication of when major jackpots are primed and ready to pay out. With loads of great slots including a whole bunch by NetEnt there are plenty of reasons why you might want to get better acquainted with Island Jackpots.

About Island Jackpots Casino

Island Jackpots is operated by Cassava Enterprises Limited, a company who are based in Gibraltar and have vast experience of operating gaming sites within the United Kingdom. They operate loads of bingo sites and online casinos, of which Island Jackpots is their latest operation. Cassava Enterprises are owned by 888 UK, who in turn are licensed and regulated by the Great Britain Gambling Commission.
The Island Jackpots brand is owned by a company named Tau Marketing Services Ltd who are based in London. Cassava Enterprises are prone to acquiring names and brands for sites from third parties in this manner. One cool feature about Island Jackpots is that you can see the number of players who are online at any given moment in time, a number which on average will be over 1,000. If you require customer support while playing at the site you can send an email but apparently it will take up to 48 hours to get a response. There is also a freephone UK number which operates from 9am until 1am seven days a week.

Banking on the Island

There are a number of ways to deposit funds into your Island Jackpots account. The payment provider logos that are visible in the footer on the homepage show the following options: Paysafecard, Neteller, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and PayPal. These might not be the only deposit options available, but Cassava Enterprises sites are traditionally extremely poor when it comes to providing information about deposits. As a consequence there may be other options that aren't disclosed to you. Within the FAQ on the site you’ll learn that withdrawals take 48 hours to be processed and that options include credit card, cheque, Neteller, wire transfer and PayPal.

Bonuses in Development?

There doesn't appear to be an awful lot available at Island Jackpots in terms of bonuses. This may simply be due to the fact that the site is a new addition to the scene and has yet to devise proper promotions. As it stands, there is only a welcome bonus available. Deposit £10 and you will be given a 100% match plus 10 free spins. This sum is subject to a 35 times wagering requirement before it can be withdrawn. As bonus offers go, this is an extremely poor one and one seems unlikely to entice players to sign up.
If you're going to play at this site regardless then you might as well claim the £10 bonus plus 10 free spins but it's hardly something you're going to go out of your way to collect. There is also a VIP scheme in operation at Island Jackpots which rewards players with monthly bonuses and other perks. Full information on how this works and what’s in store for you is unavailable without signing up and logging in to the site.

You’ve Hit the Jackpot With Slots

There are over 300 slots available at Island Jackpots, most of which seem to be by NetEnt. On the homepage you will find a grid displaying all kinds of colourful games that are just begging to be played. As Island Jackpots are swift to point out, it takes less than two minutes to join whereupon you will be able to put all of the slots through their paces, enjoying them on desktop, mobile or tablet. Games that catch the include Rainbow Riches, Fairytale Legends Little Red Riding Hood, Irish Eyes, Starburst, Fairytale Legends Hansel and Gretel and Guns N Roses. There’s also the Sharknado slot which should be a whole bunch of fun to play. Some of these games look extremely entertaining, despite the fact that these are the same slots as you'll find at most other Cassava Enterprises sites.
Still, if you had to play exclusively at Island Jackpots, it would take you some time before you worked your way through all of the games that are available on this site. There is no disputing that there are some great games in the mix with themes ranging from historical legends to vampires and from classic slots to Oriental culture. On the homepage you will find an Island Recommendation section that is filled with games which the operators of the site deem to be particularly noteworthy.
There is also a second section devoted solely to jackpot games where you will find the likes of Mega Fortune, Fluffy Favourites and Millionaire Genie. Again, you’ll encounter the same games that will crop up at loads of Cassava Enterprises sites. These might be generic slots but there is still every reason to give them a go given that there are some major sums of money to be won from these games should you be fortunate enough to land the jackpot prize.

Island Jackpots Conclusion

As Cassava Enterprises sites go, Island Jackpots is a well designed and inviting site, with some great games one which is easy to browse. There are plenty of reasons why you might want to sign up here, not least on account of the slots. Although NetEnt slots tend to be available at a great many casinos, this doesn't take away from the fact that this developer are responsible for creating some of the best looking games currently available on the web. From Guns N Roses to Pixies of the Forest, NetEnt games look great and are a pleasure to play. Nice as this is, there are loads of sites where you can do such a thing and in that respect Island Jackpots offers nothing new. The most disappointing thing about this site though is the fact that there is only £10 in bonus cash to be claimed for signing up plus 10 free spins.
Given that this offer is displayed on the homepage alongside talk of jackpots worth almost £2 million, it seems kind of miserly to be offering just £10 by way of a welcome bonus. However there are plenty of things about Island Jackpots that are positive including a fine range of deposit options and capable customer support. It’d be nice if there were more games by other developers and it'd be nice if there was the option of browsing the full range of games without being logged into the site, but this aside Island jackpots acquits itself well.

COVID-19 in Prince George information thread

https://sites.google.com/view/covid19pg
Last updated: Friday, March 20, 2020 at 4:00 pm
Please note: I am sharing information about Prince George only. For more general information about COVID-19 in B.C., please see the links section further down. That's also where you can go to get information that's come out since my latest update, as this is a spare-time thing.

City of Prince George Covid-19 Pages

Northern Health:

Northern Health has launched an virtual COVID-19 screening and information line in order to reduce demand on emergency rooms and other health services.
The service is staffed by nurses, physicians, and nurse practitioners, who are able to assess individuals who feel they may have COVID-19 or feel they have been exposed.
The line can be reached at 1-844-645-7811.
The health authority is also providing updates on Twitter and Facebook.,including word that they have set up an Emergency Operations Centre to oversee response to COVID-19 and are “taking proactive measures to maintain our stock of health care supplies and to prevent any supply disruptions.”
Elective surgeries are being postponed and visitors are being restricted.
Since people seem to want to know, according to Health Minister Adrian Dix (via Global News) the Northern Health region has 116 ventilators and 571 acute care beds.

UNBC

"Face-to-face" classes ended effective Wednesday, March 18. Campus, the library, residences and other student services remain open. The Northern B.C. Sports Centre is closed.
In a note to students, the university says, "UNBC is not closing housing and students are not being forced to leave. But, given that UNBC is actively transitioning away from face-to-face classes and exams, and with the goal of social distancing and reducing the spread of disease, we strongly encourage all students living on campus to move out of UNBC residence as soon as possible. If you have a place to go, please begin to make the appropriate arrangements to move off campus."
Updates: https://www.unbc.ca/coronavirus/updates

CNC:

Most face-to-face classes have ended. However, the school says not all on-campus instruction will end because "we recognize that not all programs, courses, labs and shops may be suited to be delivered through alternative methods; we will implement all possible safeguards to ensure the safety of students in educational activities which continue on campuses." Full statement.

There are a lot of rumours on Facebook, but this group was initially set up to coordinate information during the B.C. Wildfire evacuations of 2017, and the moderators have committed to making sure information is vetted. You should still double-check the sources of information, especially in comments, as it’s tough to for moderators to keep up. https://www.facebook.com/groups/PrinceGeorgeFireEvacue

Prince George Airport:

"The PGAA has taken steps to reduce the risk as much as possible but want passengers to be able to make informed decisions regarding their travel. Below are several information sheets from the Public Health Authority of Canada and a summary of what YXS is doing to help reduce the risk for those going through the Prince George Airport."
As a result of new national flight restrictions, passengers are encouraged to check with their carriers in advance. The last international flight out of Prince George will be Sunday, March 22.

[NA] Completely updated the CinemaScore discussion!

What is CinemaScore and how are the ratings determined?
It is a Las Vegas research firm that surveys audiences from different cities about their viewing experience off of a paper given by CinemaScore employees themselves.
There are 25 cities all across the North American region where these surveys are handed out, but only 5 are chosen to actually implement their data from each week for each new wide release.
For this set of data, I have compiled 3,177 films that have attained a CinemaScore. I will go through each score and determine the best and worst performances of a film that has received that score. Let's begin.

A+

The almighty score that is worn as a badge of honor. A relatively difficult score to achieve as we look at 69 films since its lifetime.
Of every film that has reached this score, 40/69, or 57.9% have reached $100 million domestic with 62/69, or 89.85% having multipliers higher than 3x. The average multiplier stands at a 6.27.
Here's a chart of the best multipliers.
Movie Title Domestic Total Highest Weekend Multiplier Release Date Rating
